Auschwitz & Birkenau Guided Tour with Transfers & Optional Private Tour

Our driver Lukas was excellent! Arrived on time and was full of information and facts on the journey! He made it really fun. Our tour guide at the camp was Anna, she was so informative and passionate about what she was saying and we learned so much. An excellent trip from start to finish, I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

My experience is really very emotional. Everyone should go at least once in their life to never forget. Our guide Jakub was outstanding. He spoke so faithfully and emotionally about everything, so that he did not leave anyone indifferent. And he lived through it all emotionally with us. Kudos to that man indeed. Sanja from Croatia

I liked the fact tour went ahead . Have been cancelled before . This is what we came for lucky I found this tour at short notice. Glad we were able to pay respects to all those that suffered there.

We didn't plan the trip to Auschwitz that long ahead, but we were still able to get tickets. The booking system was easy. The transfer bus was comfortable. Overall a very interesting tour.

It was a really insightful experience and we learned a lot regarding this dramatic moment in our history. Jakub, our guide, was perfect: he knows a lot about the subject and shared many information in a clear english and will lot of emotions in his explanaitons, thanks Jakub!

The trip was good (even that it was sad). Unfortunately we were late in Auschwitz because two people who was also picked up by Olek weren't in time. So we had to took a German speaking tour. Luckily we had Olek, who managed everything for us and was available all the time. Thank you Olek!

Very good communication: there were changes but these were communicated to us in good time. The tour (pick-up, logistics) was well organized.

Visited with my mother as part of her Mother's Day surprise. Seems wrong to say we enjoyed it but definatley an eye opening experience that I believe everyone should do at least once. We booked prior to travelling to Krakow but were kept informed with text and WhatsApp messages. Our driver 'Norbert' was excellent. His english was perfect and was great to chat with on the journey to and from the camp. He gave as a guided tour as we travelled through Krakow to pick up two other visiters and was very informative. I would personally request him to be my driver when I visit again. Once we arrived at Auschwitz, we were handed over to one of the licenced guides who was very informative. She also had excellent english and thanks to the headsets, we were able to hear her clearly. She showed us around the site and explained everything as we went. As others have said, it did sometimes appear quite rushed due to another group waiting to get into the area where we were. I would personally have liked to have been able to spend time at some of the locations to read the displays and take in the magnitude of what we were seeing but instead I took pictures to read them later. Following our tour, we had a quick break and something to eat. I'd highly recommend taking a packed lunch as there are very limited places to get food at the site and the places there are, were very busy with long queues. After our break, we moved over to Birkenau. This site is a lot more open and exposed so I would recommed taking warm clothing and suitable shoes as some areas were quite muddy and uneven. Unfortunatly, we didn't have the benefit of the headsets for this part of the visit so it was quite difficult to hear what the guide was saying but we luckily managed to stay near the front so we could hear most of it. Again, the guide was vey informative and patient with us. She did her best to ensure everyone could hear her and follow what she was saying. While we were there, they were completing some maintenance which meant a longer walk than usual but everything was well organised and easy to follow. Once we left the site there was time to visit the gift shop and facilities. My only personal disapointment was that all three gift shops were sold out of the guide books in English. There were also other members of our group who complained. Considering that a large majority of the visitors to the site are most likely English speaking, this seems a pretty poor oversight. After leaving the site and starting the long journey home, again our driver gave us lots of information about the areas we passed through and made the journey very enjoyable. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this tour with 'Hello Krakow' if you are visiting Krakow, and request 'Norbert' as your driver. I would suggest paying the little bit extra to go on the tour with smaller groups as from what I saw of the other groups, they appeared quite large and it would probably be difficult to follow. Always check the weather before you visit as large areas are outside. Ensure you have a warm jacket and comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking involved. We personally covered 27,000 steps. Good organized tour with a enthousiastic driver- guide with good knowledge about everything. Tour to auschwitz was impressive

The driver was very good , careful and very helpful. The guide at the tour was awesome, not boring . Very well-rounded tour.

Went smoothly, pickup on time at hotel, vehicle clean, all very professional so happy. Driver informative on the driver there. Once arrived at Auschwitz it again was all good, I believe it was what they called a quiet day, but still busy, but all professional and tour guide was very good. Also happy to answer questions we had.

The organisation was perfect. Our great and helpful driver Norbert picked us up at the right time and brought us home again safely. On the trip he gave us some useful information about the whole region.
