St. George’s Castle Guided Tour

Bruno was our guide and he was fantastic! He taught us so much about the castle history and also took great photos of us :)!

Our guide, Alex was amazing. He provided us with so much detailed information about St George Castle. Aex went out of his way to make sure we saw all the main sites in the Castle and his knowledge of historical events that happened at the Castle was amazing.

Our guide, Maira Leire. She was great, very calm, slow, with attention to detail ... the best of the best.

It was wonderful getting to walk around the castle with our guide, Elber. He was very knowledgeable of the history and geography of the area surrounding the castle and showed us key important places from above on the hill! It was interesting learning what the various parts of the castle were used for, and envisioning what it looked like in the past, based on descriptions and stories Elber shared with us.

Elbar was a very knowledgeable and professional tour guide. He shared lots of information and history about Castelo Sao Jorge as well as other related landmarks. He spoke and understood English fluently and patiently answered all our questions. Highly recommend tour!

Our tour guide Eduarda was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We learned so much about Lisbon from her. Best tour guide ever!!!

The online ticketing was fine. The guide was EXCELLENT. Sorry I can't remember his name - a young man originially from the Cape Verdes Islands. Very knowledgable and a pleasant personality. I know if we had just walked through the Castle on our own we would not have learned even half as much as we did with the guide.

Elber was a fantastic guide. He has a vast knowledge of the history of the castle. He answered all our questions making the experience memorable. I highly recommend Elber.

Our guide was so charming and had a wonderful depth of knowledge. Had the right mix of giving us information and showing us around but we had some time to see things on our own. Was able to answer all questions.

Ticketing was pretty smooth. Our guide however was fantastic. Her English was very good, she knew her stuff and was very accessible. I think the ladies on the group wanted to adopt her or marry her off to one of their sons. Anyway, it was a great experience. Thanks.
