Salt mine was really worth seeing. I highly recommend it. We looked at bus and train to get there as well as going with a group. We decided on booking the salt mine tour from Wieliczka Salt Mine early and taking an Uber from Krakow old town. It was very quick. They picked us up and dropped off at our hotel and it was $10 each way.

It was a total WOW factor from beginning to end!!! The sculptures, hanging chandeliers, carvings, EVERYTHING were beautiful and awesome inspiring. Our guide was wonderfully enthusiastic! Loved it!

Booking the tickets was fine. However with this and some other tour companies we used this weekend our time slot was changed Luckily this one was only one hours difference. Anyway the tour was fabulous and tour guide funny and Informative. The salt mine tour involves a considerable amount of walking and a lot of stairs down. The mines are fascinating and the main chapel is stunning. Worth a visit

Could not have imagined what we would see! The carvings were all remarkable - but when we say that complete church, we were truly amazed. Tour guide was very knowledgable and engaging.

Couldn't have a better guide she was brilliant . Very knowledgeable and considerate to people who weren't too good on their feet. A wonderful experience from beginning to end .

It was an experience, but due to the many visitors we had the impression that we were just being passed through. Especially when the guide handed us over to someone else

The site is awesome, but the guide was not giving that much information. We felt a bit rushed without having the time to really enjoy and understand the site. There was no time for questions so we still had questions after the guided tour.

No Quietvoxes & large group is a deadly combination. The guide always started to speak with half of the group far away and unable to hear her and even if we flocked around her it was not easy to hear. And I understand why, she needed to manage the timing and with a large group that is difficult. But honestly there wouldn't be much difference if no guide present I couldn't get much information. The mine is huge above imagination, very impressive and I'm happy to have seen it. But it can be very tiresome to walk under the ground for 2 hours and it takes a great guide to entertain you. But even the best guide can't do it without a proper equipment and in a large group. Our guide wasn't bad but also wasn't great. With no whispers (Quietvoxes) and round 40 people in the group she had no chance to make it enjoyable. Everyone was already seeing themselves above the ground.

The organization was great, we didn't find the meeting point immediately and were then called several times. The tour was also very interesting. Everything was very well organized!

The Salt Mine was beautiful. Soooo awesome, but.....it was soooo rushed. We walked past several diorama displays and rushed thru the largest salt chapel. The guide did a great job. Was there a longer tour we could have booked?

Great day. You need to be fit and able to stand for 3 hours but the experience of seeing these tunnels and mines is fantastic. My two tips would be get there in plenty of time. Find your rep to get your ACTUAL tickets of entry as this is not clear and the guide is not visible. 2nd be prepared for the lift at the end to reach the top after tour, you're squeezed in, it's dark and a little scary but only last a minute.

The access to the tour was really super fast and good. The tour was also impressive and not boring for a second.

The groups really need to be separate to kids our group had 5 kids, they kept shouting and talking over the guide... the parents were also insufferable shouting and talking among their own group. Completely ruined it for myself and definitely the other people- at it was visable on their faces. Kids should be a separate tour, it's really unfair to the rest of the people who paid and are trying to enjoy the experience and listen to the history.

I loved the experience and explainations. However we qued and than was told to look for tickets I got a scare!!. I would have the representative with a big sticker with your logo, so people would see it immediately. Remember guest are new to the place !!. Thanks

The ticketing experience was fine. We received an email and text that the tour would be 50 minutes late. It was good we received both. It was difficult to find our meetup person because it didn't say "head out booking" on his sign. You could let guests know what the sign, sticker, etc (ie...super Krakow).

Everything went perfectly, from booking on the website to getting the tickets. The tour was very interesting, with a very good guide. I'd recommend it.

Well organize tour, it's not just a mine it's a history of the region. It deserve the Money you paid for the visit. The guide in Spanish at the height of the tour. The best thing was the ascent to the surface in the lift elevator.

I did not know what to expect,we arrived approximately 15min early,was swiftly approaching and told where to wait,the tour started after the guide introduced herself,can't remember her name, But she was very nice and very informative,it was the best experience I have ever been on ,the salt mines are absolutely beautiful and the work to maintain it is amazing. The steps down to the mine are very hard (especially for someone like me with a wonky knee) but I survived it. Definitely worth a visit.Excellent trip 10 out of 10
