The skip-the-line part was great! Security checks still took ~10 minutes, but the advance ticket holder line was much shorter than those trying to buy same-day tickets. The armory was closed, which based on the recommended times per section, reduced our time there by 40%, but there wasn't a reduction in ticket price. It would have been nice to know this in advance so we could adjust our plans accordingly. I also read reviews about how beautiful the gardens were, but they weren't part of the ticket (because they are free), but also not accessable from the inside of the palace. It would have been an additional 20 minute walk to get to an entrance to the garden.

You could enter at any time you wanted, the line for those who had tickets was very long and the line for those who did not have tickets was empty and they entered much faster than us. It didn't matter what time you were scheduled to visit because you had to get in line.

Madrid's Royal Palace is definitely one of the city's most striking attractions. The visit went well overall, although it is useful to know that despite the advance purchase of the ticket, there is a line of about half an hour before entering. Once inside, the organization was efficient and the rooms are spectacular: the halls are well-kept, rich in history and well explained, and there is no need to take self-guided tours. It is worth taking the time to explore at leisure. The only negative note: the bathrooms were definitely dirty and poorly maintained, which is surprising at a site of this level. Overall, however, the visit is worthwhile and a must-see for anyone visiting Madrid.

We had booked tickets online for Palacio Real in Madrid. The advantage of booking online was indeed, that you don't have to wait in a long line, but get in much faster. Visiting the palace is definitely recommended, it's amazingly beautiful! The palace is beautiful! Definitely worth checking out. We had trouble downloading the PDF of the ticket from the app and there's no WiFi at the palace. I went next door and tried their WiFi but it still didn't work. They needed the PDF to scan. After about a half hour, they let us in but we couldn't get the audio. I tried again later with WiFi to download the tickets on the app and it still didn't work.

The skip-the-line ticket was very helpful. We waited only a few minutes. The only downside was that we booked for Saturday and after paying an email came saying there were no more seats. We had to make Sunday quickly because we had a flight at 4 pm. By the way, the Sunday ticket was cheaper but we did not receive a refund for the difference.

The truth I'm sorry but I would give it at most one star and not even that. At first everything was fine, safe and apparently reliable payment. I arrived at the Royal Palace and when they scanned my QR it was false. In addition to not being true, it said that a girl had already redeemed it, which means that in addition to being false, they gave it to me from someone else. Very unfortunate experience, thank goodness that the Bernabeu and Warner Park tickets were valid, otherwise I would have no vacations. Given what I no longer trust, I will not buy again through this site.

The ticket I bought from you was showing as invalid when scanned on the entry. I had to stay for several minutes while the personnel was trying to figure out what would do with this situation. Eventually I was allowed to enter but did not get an explanation on what the issue was. Nevertheless I did not had the best experience, had to wait more than if I would have just showed up on the place and buy a ticket and I have felt as I have done something wrong, at least all the stares at me from the other visitors made me uncomfortable. This experience would make me reconsider how and from where I would get tickets for events and places.

Visiting the Royal Palace of Madrid was definitely one of the highlights of our time in Spain. This was a great experience and the tickets really did help in skipping the long lines to purchase tickets on side. There was still a bit of waiting involved ahead of security screening but it wasn't very long at all. It's Europe’s largest functioning royal palace, with over 3,400 rooms! While the Spanish royal family no longer lives there, it’s still used for official ceremonies. The royal banquet hall was especially impressive. We were surrounded by lavish gold detailing, frescoed ceilings, velvet walls, portraits, musical instruments and so much more. The Throne and Porcelain Rooms were my favourites. It truly felt like stepping into a different world, one of unimaginable wealth and grandeur. I was positively surprised that they now allow visitors to take photos! Highly recommended

The Royal Palace was an amazing dwelling. There are so many different amazing rooms set up like they were when it was the royalty's home. We loved looking through them all. The skip the line pass saved us hrs worth of waiting time. Would definitely recommend this option if you go.

The tickets mention "skip the line" tickets. However, there is no such thing as skip the line at the Royal Palace. We had to wait in line for an hour before entering the palace. Please advertise the tickets correctly to avoid bad expectations from customers. Also, it would be more practical to have the tickets attached to the email instead of forcing customers to go into the app. At the venue, the tickets were not loading in the app and it took a couple tries to make them appear. So we lost time there, losing time for the person scanning tickets and people behind us. Also, I always share the tickets with my partner, in case one of use lose our phone or have internet issues, we are fine. I was not able to do that because I couldn't download the tickets from the app... I didn't like to use the app for these reasons.

Good, when I wanted to book by laptop they rejected the payment, by cell phone I could do it with the same card...weird, I comment because sometimes it complicates. When I got there, they wanted me to make the long line was a single to buy and enter ... I understand that it is the responsibility of the Palace. Anyway, I had a knee problem and they let me in showing the medical certificate...so I finally did not queue. The palace is highly recommended !!!!!

Powercut in Spain on 28th April meant our train from Murcia did not leave the station. The subsequent Internet and mobile phone network prevented notification. Whilst we travelled to Madrid on 29th April by train we arrived too late to be able to take a tour of the palace. Not really Headout's fault but the train operator and rail company both automatically refunded costs.

I cannot work out why 4 senior tickets at E7 comes to E63 even with booking fee. Once in the first door there is another ticket check across the courtyard. My ticket would not load again and we were almost turned away. Will probably not use this system again. Sorry

I bought the ticket because it said skip the line, however, I was surprised that all who bought online tickets were standing in a very long line in the sun. We had waited with a baby and two elderly parents for more than 25 minutes in the burning sun for our turn to enter the palace. Please either rename your ticket to online ticket and be realistic and mention that this is not a skip the line ticket and that there is a long wait in the line. Otherwise, arrange with the Palace management a real skip the line entry.

The bathrooms are too few for the number of women who use them. The information is not very clear. The audio guide is of very poor quality and tourists generally have limited internet and it is not specified that you have to download an App and download the tickets. I only had the ticket number from the email I received with the confirmation. The truth was not a good experience, even more with the heat of that day.

When you buy the ticket by headout it tells you that it is without queues, and gives you the option of audio guide or not. In my case I did not choose the guide, and when I arrived at the site, they told me that they only prioritize tickets with guides, I had to wait in line anyway, with my baby in the sun. They should specify very CLEARLY that only the option with guide is the one that does not queue. Thank you

There was more than a mile long for visitors with tickets and another without tickets. It will be better to limit the amount and just let people to go in. The Palace itself is enormous but it looks tired and in desperate need for renovation. I saw piles of dirts under the rolled rugs in the main bedrooms. It was an amazing architecture to go through but I think a good cleaning is needed.

The overall experience was very pleasant, however the handling of the skip-the-line tickets is not at all consistent with the entry times. Despite having purchased the ticket with a specific time, I had to wait in the entire line entering 45 min later without any adherence to the time on the purchase ticket UNLESS it was skip the line. I did not skip any lines, in fact-I was in line for three quarters of an hour

Out of all the attractions and things to see in Madrid, this was by far the most overcrowded sardines-can type of experience. You are shoulder to shoulder, not easy to explore on your own pace, and take in the beauty of this palace. Also, the "skip-the-line" ticket is mostly what everyone gets, so there was an extremely long line for entry as well. Great place, poor experience as a walk through.

We arrived at the Palace 20 minutes earlier, at around 11:40. There were already hundreds of people waiting in line amd our tickets were only recognized as "standard", which means no priority despite Headout clear advirtised otherwise (sin colas) . There was absolutely no staff from the Palace to organize the line or offer any kind of help. So, we gave up. I will cancel my account in Headout because of this misinformation.

The ticket is not skip the line, the line is made and a long one too (at least 40 minutes) under the hot sun. There are two lines, one for those who do not have a ticket and one for those who do. Unfortunately, even in the latter there are a lot of people and the entrance flows slowly so there are very long waiting times under the scorching sun. There is no attendant to give information or anything, you just have to wait your turn. In the ticket email, the pickup/access point corresponds to the group entrance point. I went there, there was no line, I approached the automatic door to ask if with my ticket I could skip the line but nothing, they didn't open the door at all, the attendants inside pointed with their finger at the "group" sign and laughing they didn't open it for me or allow me to ask a short question. So very bad organization and the ticket is NOT skip the line but "wait in line"!

I did the visit on my own and we liked the experience. However, we bought the tickets before going there to save queues, we had the visit for 11:15 am and it was not until 12:23 pm when we entered the enclosure, that is, we queued for more than an hour. In addition, the line is made in a place where there are no trees or roofs where you can shelter from the sun and I started to get a sunstroke. The whole palace was a "madness". The "palace band" in particular was an absolute hit. It's not easy to see such a great "chapel". Buying the ticket and getting in (we were at the entrance about 1/2 hour early and were let in without any problems!) was absolutely stress-free and pleasant. It was a highlight of our trip to Madrid. I will be going there again with my wife !!!!

Through Headout it is more expensive (4€) than on the official website but there were no tickets left and Headout confirms the entrance at the moment. I recommend this app for when there is no availability on the official website of the Royal Palace. You have to queue with other people who also have tickets but it is fast.

During the whole purchase process you are not given the possibility to fill in data to request an invoice in the name of the company. Once you try to claim it they tell you that you can not get your invoice because it is issued to the customer data when at no time they warn you. I have complained and I am still waiting for a response from support that never arrives.

The architecture of the palace is magnificent, it's the best palace I've seen. i'm not much of a museum lover, but the prado attracted me too much. I won't hesitate to visit again if I get the chance. to be recommended

A little difficult to find the entrance, but the overall tour was nice. We didn't have a guide so we explored the palace on our own, which was pretty okay, i think you will only need an audio guide if you wanna learn more.

We visited the Royal Palace on 31/10. I highly recommend taking the queue-cutting tickets, which saved us a huge queue. We took an audio guide which really helped us understand the tour. A very pleasant visit.

We did indeed skip a long queue by buying tickets online, and the palace is undoubtedly beautiful, however I think it is relevant to mention that the Palace has no air conditioning, which makes the experience, inside the rooms, unbearable to say the least, my family and I were sweltering in the middle of autumn.

Overall we were very happy with the whole experience. The skip the line meant we were in the MUCH smaller line. Didn't take long to get in. We were a little unclear as to where our correct entrance was but we got it. The Palace was amazing. We would recommend using Headout and visiting the Royal Palace.

I was lucky that I bought tickets online, otherwise it was a 1 kilometer queue. Perhaps it would have been good to specify somewhere that those with online tickets can enter past the enormous queue to buy tickets, where exactly. The royal palace is gorgeous! I found the tour quite short, especially as it is compared to Versailles. But the experience is worth it. I think that here, on this site, I found the cheapest tickets.

Great experience to do, great price too. Only the skip the line is not clear. You have an entrance with and without a ticket. And then it is not clear where you have to stand with your ticket. Finally found the right and indeed much shorter line and could then enter within 15 minutes...skip the line of buying a ticket is a fair term.

The tour of the Royal Palace of Madrid is astounding because of the grandeur and majesty that shines through every moment of the visit. We walked through the halls of the palace imagining how members of the royal family must feel to have access to unique rooms and objects. Definitely a unique experience to recommend to anyone with a passion for history and art. I regret not being able to visit the palace armory, which was closed to the public at this time. It is freely photographable. I recommend wearing comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking.

Unfortunately the weapon chamber was closed; I don't think we should pay full price if the venue is partly closed. Also, the app for the audio guide is very annoying. It pauses when it's running in background and doesn't prevent the phone from going into standby. Better get one of the audio guides at the site.

Hi we loved the whole Palace experience. On the downside it is not clear at the entrance where the entrance is differentiated between people queuing for tickets and people who have skip the line tickets. We spent a long time, along with others, waiting in the wrong queue. Quite frustrating, and time wasting in the heat of the day. Wkrth the wait once we got into this fabulous building
