Looking around London on a Hop-On Hop-Off (HOHO) bus makes seeing the city easy when mobility is an issue, as it is for my wife. We went around the blue and red loops, which were very good. We missed the green loop due to time constraints which was disappointing; the early buses were doing the loops so slowly, even though there was no traffic and stopping for ages at each stop for no reason, so the loops took ages. Late in the day, traffic became congested, so loops understandably became slow, but the early slow loops meant that our whole day was taken up on the blue and red loops took up our whole day, even though we only got off and on again twice and we got on the first bus of the day and off the last. At the end of the day, we missed the final blue loop bus to take us back to our start point because the red loop bus took so long to get around, even though it skipped numerous stops. We were thankful that we did this in winter; imagine how long it would take in summer when the traffic is bad. It's disappointing that the early buses didn't make the most of the good traffic conditions.

The announcements always come after you have passed the object, i.e. late. The frequency as stated on the internet, e.g. red line every 15 minutes, was not adhered to. Maybe write that in the winter months the buses can have a different frequency.

1. We bought our tickets on your Headout website at 10:47am on 28th January – your website said the tickets would be valid till 6pm 2. We went to board the bus at 11am and the lady who validated our tickets clearly told us that tour service would stop at 2:30pm for a company event and we should contact the company who sold us the tickets for a refund. 3. That is when I called to complain. 4. We stayed on the bus until 2:15pm – got off at a stop – we did not see any more buses after that and had to take an Uber back to the train station.

The views from the open-top level of the bus were amazing, and the complimentary audio was a nice touch. Booking the tickets was straightforward; however, it was a bit confusing figuring out which bus to take since there are several "hop on, hop off" companies operating on the same route. Additionally, the ending time was unclear, and after waiting 10 minutes for a bus, we were informed it would only be going to one more stop. As a result, we ended up having to walk 40 minutes back to our rental.

The Thames Cruise was a highlight as it gave you a different perspective of the sights of the city. The commentary on board deleivered by one of the staff was well paced, clear and informative. The route and the bus travelling mismatched which caused lot of trouble in planning our trip. The drivers were rude and unhelpful and racist. We were given a bad treatment and were literally pushed out from bus. It was so bad that we had to take a cab to go to our hotel rather than find a right bus in the evening. The river cruise trip included was also single side and not return and we were not informed which made our life difficult as we were stuck on other side assuming we will be dropped at starting point. Imagine going through this with an eight year old daughter with you throughout the day and her experience with such bad behaviour. It was a vexing and tiresome experience.

1. The HOHO bus stopped and waited for long periods., thus spending a lot of time sitting in one place. Then should depart a stop as soon as passengers have got off and got on. 2. I uderstand that route may be changed to avoid traffic congestion etc, however the stops shown on map did not match with actual - e.g Green Park. 3. We had stood at a stop (no 12 on map) for approx. 5mts because the sign board at stop clearly said " City sightseeing" and the bus just bypassed us!. Stopped about 100 mtrs ahead. By the time we reached the bus had left. then it took another 15-20 mts for next bus to arrive. Updates like this should be informed. 4. While the bus drivers in general were courteous, one (of black ethnicity) was rude when replying my query re changeover stop for blue from red bus. They need to be reminded that customers pay their wages.

I responded earlier but seem not to have the option for the negative feedback from the overall good experience. On the first day we waited for 45 minutes at the British Museum, but the bus never showed. We caught the bus later at the hotel. Also, pollution seems higher on the top deck and in traffic. I often had to clean black soot out of my nostrils after a bus ride, and our family all caught colds after our first two days of bus rides. We came again for another one-day and had similar pollution problems. The Edinburgh ticket worked nicely, and we stayed out of the rain as well. We did not use public transportation there.

My tour was awesome...but a lot of major communications on head out end. If a company works on the assumption that not everybody KNOWS where a place is..and gives real good directions...its a far better and less frustrating experience for users. Try it!!! You couldn't possibly do a worse job than the lack of directions I got. Good luck

I liked being able to hop off and spend time in the various areas on my own schedule. I DID NOT like how hard it was to find the first HOHO bus. I looked for over 45 minutes and asked over 12 people (people who worked in the tourism industry). I was super frustrated. I felt like it could have been avoided if I would have had instructions about where to go or what to look for. The city buses look a lot like the HOHO. A couple of the drivers were ornery.

Had to stand on the bus tour a reasonable amount of the time (felt like being on public transport), a lot of the seats were cramped with little leg room, shortly after we did find to a more comfortable seat the bus overheated and we had to transfer to the next bus which was full, so standing again!

It passes several tourist attractions, but sometimes I felt that the audio was not in sync with the place, I asked the guide and he said that the whole tour took around 2 hours, I spent almost 5 hours on the bus and I couldn't complete it, there was a lot of traffic, I feel that I didn't know anything because I didn't get off thinking that I would have time to do 2 laps

Bus stops were hard to find, waited for one bus (on the green route) for 40 (!) minutes, the audio guide (red route) sometimes was hardly on time, sometimes we've already passed the building... route has been changed. at least the thames river cruise and his lovely captain compensated for all the shortcomings of the hop on hop off busses.

The setup was entirely nonconsumer friendly. The information on the routes was unclear. It did not provide the exact location where to board the bus, and which company would accept the ticket booked online. We spent almost 30 mins. walking to find out where we could board the bus.

Due to numerous road closures on the day of the event (September 7, 2024), the blue route was completely suspended and stops 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 of the red route were closed. We were therefore unable to make full use of the event and the tickets. We hope for a compromise as the booked extent could not be used.

Unfortunately I never got to use my tickets as I was unwell on the day. This was so upsetting for me as it was my grandchildrens birthday and I had paid £148 for these tickets. I asked headout if I could change the ticket to the next day. I was told no. I thought they may of shown some compassion and allowed this. My grandchildren are twins and it was there 6th birthday treat. I cannot afford another £148 to take them again. There should be some information on people who go ill on the day. So they can reuse there ticket.

Good morning. I couldn't use the ticket today. Bus no. 15 did not arrive at any stop. It did not run on the route. Today, central London was blocked due to a march, but you were selling tickets for that day (June 1). I couldn't get anywhere. I am therefore asking for a refund of the amount of £64 per ticket.

Hello, I am requesting a refund as our tickets were not used because the information for Redemption was incorrect resulting in us not being able to get a bus. The website and confirmation said we could get the bus at Green Park Station. We waited several hours there and a bus did not stop. I am disabled and am very angry. A representative told me via chat the Green Park Station was no longer a stop and to go to another stop to get the bus. That is not an option. I would prefer not to publish a negative complaint, however I will do so if I am not refunded for the booking . I was told a supervisor would call me within 10 minutes. I am still waiting for a reply on a message i sent regarding date changes. Activated our tickets today & bus driver on the blue line advised us the red is 20 minutes away. Once we took off the red was dirctly behind us so she had to let us out at a set of traffic lights. She was extremely unhelpful & rude considering we were also travelling with a child. The bus then stopped at a stop for approximatley 15 minutes while turning on & off repeatedly. We needed to get to the changing of the guards on time so had to get out & get a taxi. We are extremely unhappy with the service revieved & i would like to be contacted for my tickets to be refunded as we will not be using them again tomorrow after our service today.
