Castel Sant'Angelo Special Access Guided Tour

I really liked the tour, the girl who gave it to us knew a lot and explained everything very calmly and very well. It was my first tour and I would do it again because I really liked it. Thank you!

As soon as we arrived, the staff at the Castle itself pointed us to where the guides were. No problems regarding that. The location of the Castle is already special. There is a beautiful bridge over the Tiber. The Castle is huge with many places to visit inside. We took the full guided tour with a drink at the top of the Castle included. Like everything in Rome, the Castle has layers of history, from ancient Rome to recent Popes. Highly recommended.

Alec was a great guide, knowledgeable and funny. If you can do the tour with Alec, do it. My wife, who had no interest in Castel Sant'Angelo, she was going because I wanted to, loved the tour.

Our guide (incredibly nice and was very informative) we didn't have audio gear so we couldn't hear her nice voice. It was very loud with other people there. We felt we missed out on a lot of her speaking to our group.

We really enjoyed our tour with Agnes. So much history and much smaller crowds than most most sites in Rome. We decided to do this at the last minute on our last day in Rome, and we are so glad we did!

Ticketing experience was super easy and the representatives were easy to spot and very cordial and professional. Our guide, Jeanie was super nice and informative. The equipment was in and out and quite scratchy at times. Then it went out completely for part of the tour. Overall, very good tour

Alec our guide was incredibly articulate and made our tour fun as well as educational. We learnt more than just about the Castel but also the history of Rome and what was ancient and what was old. The analogy of the archaeological lasagna was perfect. Alec was very knowledgeable and you knew he was passionate about sharing all he knew. Very happy with our experience and would recommend to others highly!
