The cloisters were wonderful, but we had to wait for a very long time on a warm and sunny day to gain entrance. We then would have liked to gain access to the chapel and were told we had to join another queue...... Information on your booking form about the less busy times to visit would hsve been appreciated.

The monestary is beautiful. We especially love the intricacy of the carvings and the room with the story of Joseph. The one notable downside was the incredibly long wait to get into the monestary. We waited about 1 hour and 50 mintues to get in. We are not sure why you cannot let more people through at one time.

booking tickets very fast and very comfortable, but a lot of people, to get in, it would be nice to put benches along the queue.

No information about access procedures. Long waiting without understanding why! No audio guide available. Practically no informations at the venue... 🙁

I could find no guide in Italian. In order to visit the church, it was necessary to wait in another line after seeing the monastery, which obviously deserves

The Monestary was beautiful. The architecture is breathtaking. We also really admired the Cathedral which was gorgeous. The ticket process was convenient as we bought ahead of time and made entry to the Monestary quick and seamless.

The monastery is amazing. The queue terrible and I was there early. No access to church either. Groups get priority that is not right

The monastery was clean and very welll-maintained. The line was long but worth it; I like that the attendants only allowed a few groups of people in at a time because it helped make the experience feel more personal.

Technically, buying tickets for the Hieronymos Monastery is very simple and convenient. Unfortunately, the tickets are not time-stamped, so you arrive with everyone else at the same time, conclusion: we had to queue for two hours to get in, in the middle of the heat, because there were hundreds of tourists queuing up fortunately, it was splendid. But 2 hours in line is a load of rubbish!

Didn't realize I needed to book ahead of time. Found out after standing in ticket holders line which was not identified except at the entrance. Tried to book using qr code. Didn't work. A man in line behind me went online and booked it for me, but I ened up with 2 adults (OK) and a child (not OK, as I did not have a child with me) Entrance person couldn't help as "it is a private app" and all this after waiting nearly 2 hours online. A beautiful place - but the experience was ruined by the issues above.

The ticket experience was good, transactions seamless and to download the app so that the tickets can be scanned was fairly easy.

Your two-row system means long queues, when we could go straight from the cloister to the church. Nowhere do you make it clear that we can only see the cloister inside, whereas we can imagine a much longer visit when we see the huge building from the outside. And as for the entrance, we have to wait a long time and watch groups of people with guides go past without being given any explanation, which is a pity, because people get annoyed.

I bought my tickets online, there was OK. Than I went to the Monastary I schould stay in the cueue for nerly 3 hours! This is a very bad experience! And I wanted to see the church too - there was another cueue, would have been another 2-3 hours. I left. In the Monastery schould have been a door for the tickets holders to visit directly the church.

Good visit to the monastery but ticket included Belem Tower which was closed due to rough seas. There was no indication of the risk of closure nor any advice about conditions on the day. We. Visited a second time days later but also closed. We contacted staff and they very politely and promptly arranged a refund which was much appreciated. Only complaint is that no fore warning was provided.

We loved our visit to the monastery. The ticketing process through Headout was easy. And, when we had a glitch with sharing the audioguide, the number to call worked perfectly. The person on the phone got the audioguide to connect to both our phones.

The monastery itself was beautiful. However, the line moved very slowly after the monastery opened at 10. As we waited, we weren't sure why they were only letting a certain amount of people in at at a time. We felt it would have been better if someone from the support team walked down the line to explain why we were not all being let in at 10, especially since the monastery was quite vast. We don't mind waiting, we understand it is a tourist attraction, we just felt communication could have been better.

The venue itself is magnificent, but few rooms are open to the public, which makes the visit a little expensive for the number of pieces to see.

The part of the monastery you are able to actually see is lovely. But it's an enormous building and the ticket covers maybe 10% of it. Inadequate I'm afraid. However the real issue is that given what you pay to get in, the idea that you have to exit and then line up AGAIN, for about an hour to get into the church part is ridiculous. If you have paid the entry fee then you should have a direct route into the church when you have seen the other part. We skipped the church area because we simply weren't prepared to waste another hour for what might be a ho-hum result. And there are all kinds of seats that the original architect designed for people to actually sit on. But this is all prohibited. As an architect it is really irritating when Client don't allow a building to be used the way it was intended to be.

Monastery was beautiful. Wish it had been made more clear that the church closed earlier than the monastery, we missed seeing vasco da gama's tomb.
