Guided Tour of Florence Cathedral with Optional Dome Climb

The experience did not immediately get off to the best start because upon reaching the meeting point with the guide we found out that the cathedral would not be open during our visit so a bit annoyed we pointed out to the agency that we had booked and paid for a tour that also included the inside of the cathedral. At that point they reorganized and offered us a visit to the cathedral museum and a climb to Giotto's bell tower while rescheduling for another time the tour inside the cathedral that also included a visit to the baptistery. In short, from an apparent initial disservice the experience turned into a complete and comprehensive tour of the entire cathedral complex. Kudos also go to our guide. Professional and very knowledgeable. Thank you

We were greeted in front of the Cathedral by a very kind young lady, who left us in the hands of the gentleman guide.

We liked the tour very much. The only thing I would remove in the title of the experience is the optional climb to the dome, because at least we were confused, we thought we had it included and that we could go up at the end of the tour.

It was great to get the historical details from our guide of what we were seeing. It truly created a wonderful story that we won't forget. Thanks.

Best tour we have had yet, the tour guide (can't remeber her name unfortunately) was super passionate and had very good knowledge to go with her charisma. Wait time was a little longer than usual due to recent flooding in the entry area but we'll worth the time and money.

It was very interesting and our Gide could explain for us a lot of things! It was very nice to visit this Duomo and to know the history behinde of it! It was a gut expirience !

We loved our tour guide. She went out of her way to accompany us to the Opera del Duomo museum after the Duomo and it was fascinating.

Marcelo was amazing and a true scholar of Firenze. What a treasure. The only thing was that he told us that our tix included a climb to the top of the duomo. When we waited in the line and got to the front, we were told that our tix did not.
