In the case of the spa it was a positive activity, we enjoyed the experience but in the cruise we spent almost an hour waiting for the boat to leave, they put us on the boat that corresponded with the tickets purchased but after a while they told us that there were problems, that we could do the activity on another one (a boat that looked like a very old fishing boat with a very unpleasant smell of fuel) or that we could resume the experience another day (in our case unfeasible since we were leaving Budapest the next day). The truth is that the organization was terrible. I would recommend other visitors not to contract the activity with Silverline Cruises.

Useful cruise to learn about the various attractions in Budapest. You can use your cell phone to listen to the audio guide. The only flaw is the background music: you can't put random pop/rock songs from the radio on me during such an activity. The spa is okay, very historic, although expectations were higher. Unfortunately, the only pool that differs from the others is the outdoor one with some whirlpools. Otherwise they are all very similar. Length of stay 3/4 hours, no more.

Pleased we had a private cabin and a secure place to leave clothes and valuables. One thermal pool was closed,due to maintainance so it did get quite crowded in the other pool. Beutiful setting and a lovely way to spend the afternoon We did think we would be able to hire towels ,but had to buy towels &flip flops and you needed a swimming hat to swim in main pool.

Very nice bath with multiple mineral pools inside und three pools outside. The large pool outside is for swimming and requires that a cap is worn. The two other pools outside are warm enough to just stand around and maybe play a game of chess. All in all very relaxing. I could easily spend a whole week there. Take dour time and enjoy the flair.

The location is beautiful, nothing to say about it. One big flaw is the maintenance. Dirty water, some pools closed for maintenance, others had black residue on the bottom. Indoor pools smelled of pee. The saunas super crowded. Personally I would recommend it to visit, but I would not go back there to take a bath.

The outside spa was the best. Inside was not managed well. Suggestion would be to have designated pools/steam rooms for adults 18 and over only. And kids under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times. Young teenagers were in and out of steam rooms. Spas. Back in steam rooms , back in pools it was not relaxing at all.

Good value for two very unique ways to experience Budapest. The baths were pretty packed with tourists though, even on a chilly day. But the 50m swimming pool was outstanding. The cruise was nice. I tried using the metro in between the bath and the cruise pier, which was easy and cheap, and a way to experience the public transport.

The main out door pool was out of operation, which was a main attraction, which did mean the smaller outdoor pool was overly busy. Had we known in advance we probably wouldnt of booked. As too many people in that 1 pool outdoor meant we did not dtay as long as planned so for ghe time we were there was very expensive...

The bad thing and the only reason why I give it 4 stars, is because when booking it came as if we had booked a private space to change and in reality it is a common thing where you have your own locker. And the outdoor pool is temporarily closed and we didn't know anything about it.

The boat ride was a strange time, it would have been better to go in the evening when it was dark. Very cold as people were allowed to open all the windows to take photos !!!

Experience was worth it. We forgot to get towels but had an option to buy them there. Several pools to choose from and was relaxing. Do not forget to get your own shampoo, conditioner and soap of you do not want to use the generic one provided by the spa. It was quite easy to get around and access pools.

A little bit concerned about the cleanliness of the facilities. Spent 2 hrs there which for me was sufficient I think Summertime would be a more pleasant experience

The baths were so warm. I really enjoyed the adventure pool with the swirly "lazy river". Didn't use the jacuzzi but many did and seemed to enjoy it. It was also nice to have lunch on the terrace. The wonderfully warm main "bath" I will never forget. It wasn't overcrowded and it was a great way to spend our last day before returning to the UK. Checked out of our hotel and with the aid of the cabin were able to store our luggage whilst enjoying the pool. A quick uber to the airport and we were on our way having had a wonderful restful day.

Chose the private cabin, this made the experience really easy going. It's a very small cabin, perfect for just one person to change in at a time. If you go with a group you could all put your items in the cabin if you want, and not in individual lockers. But I wouldn't suggest more than one changes in a cabin at once. I've been the the Gellert spa, which I think was more beautiful, but this spa was very nice. Lots of space and different pools to go into. Only some of the sauna rooms were very crowded.

Very organized. I received the 'email with directions to the meeting point 3 days before, at the meeting point we found a person who spoke Italian and gave us the tickets. We went in and were accompanied the whole time by 3 guides but the explanation was done by an 'audio guide who activated himself in front of each vosa to be explained. The parliament is wonderful inside. Absolutely recommended the visit.

Quite a large complex, took us a while to find the correct entrance for our ticket but plain sailing after that. We had tickets with a changing room. If you are a couple and share a room you can save a few euros and get one of these and a standard ticket. Inside the don't take cash, card only. Had a nice couple of hours there. If you want a chair or sun lounger get there early, we arrived at 11am on Monday and everything was taken.

Super easy to book online and able to use 3rd party payment app. Very easy to get to on the metro too. The architecture of the baths was beautiful. We got there around 10.30-11.00, It was busier than I would have liked it to be, but it was the height of the holiday season. I had paid for a cabin which I was expecting to be shared with my family, but all this was, was a changing cubicle which was allocated individually from each wristband so we got split up. The best pool for me was outside in the sunshine. Did I feel any benefits afterwards? Yes I looked more refreshed in my face. Would I come here again? I would probably choose somewhere else smaller, more exclusive and consistent with a natural spa experience-but this is just personal preference. For me this was like visiting the local swimming pool built in beautiful surroundings. We also spent time in the park area where the baths is situated and had lunch which was very handy for us.

The booking was very easy and clear. Everything was perfect. The spa was fantastic. I would point out that it is best to arrive early in the morning, just when they open, and get a hammock in the shady part, located at the back, near the smoking area. Just put a towel on top of it. Nobody touches your belongings, and they are free. This ensures that you will be able to lie down during your visit, and in the shade, if you go in summer, with 40°. Once in place, I would start the route through the indoor toilets, to finish in the outdoor pools, since, due to the influx of people, they are not in the best hygienic conditions to say, they are a little dirty after noon. I didn't hire the cabin, and I didn't think it was necessary. With the lockers you can get by just fine. If you take one of the last ones in the corridor, there are hardly any people, and you can change without any problem. They give you a bracelet that opens and closes the locker. I hope this is useful to whoever reads it.

We liked the whole venue, but I had an unpleasant feeling just when I presented my tickets. The elderly lady, who spoke to me in Hungarian the whole time, insisted on downloading the ticket app when I was showing her the app, she forced my phone insisting. I explained in English that I was already on the app, but he kept insisting, he noticed and kept speaking in Hungarian and I honestly did not thank him. He was very rude but he did speak in English to sarcastically say "thank you". Previously a group of Chinese tourists were also spoken to very badly. The thermal spa water was so warm and calming. It felt healing and peaceful. The setting was just beautiful - the building is stunning. The thermal spa was not too crowded and the day ticket worked really well for us as we could spend as much time as we wanted and explore the indoor pools and the sauna and have lunch there too. Having the cabin to change in was also really good. The staff were great and friendly. The adventure pool was fun and I swam some lengths in the swimming pool too, which was lovely and really special. Indoor pools got quite busy later in the day but I spent most of the time outdoors. Interesting experience inside the parliament, beautiful halls and fascinating the dome hall where the shrine with the Hungarian holy crown is placed. The tour, although it is only for the 4th floor, is very nice and gives us some history of the town and its main building. We had a hard time finding the guide but finally managed. You don't have to enter the lobby where you get tickets to enter the museum and palace but outside the palace itself, in the square just outside the revolving door on the city side, not the Danube side. Courteous Manuel and colleague to call us by phone. Eventually visit done!

You need a printed ticket to get in, but if you only have a PDF, the information desk will print out the tickets for you free of charge. Audioguides are available in many languages. The hot springs are very nice and worth knowing, but we took the coupon that said preferential entry and private cabin or locker (so described the entry) and when we got there we were not given private cabin despite having it free. They asked us to pay more and said that the ticket said it was optional. The ticket with what they offered us would have been much cheaper at the ticket office, I took it for headout for the private cabin since we were traveling in a group with children and some elderly people. It was also crowded and the lockers were crowded and it was difficult to change. The restroom experience was fine but the ticket purchase is not recommended.

Everything well organized, when we arrived at the meeting point we found the assistant ready to receive us a very kind way ( she speaks only English ) but she is joined by a colleague who speaks Italian, so very professional and kind. The visit is really beautiful a palace of a thousand and one nights, after the routine checks ( airport type ) we were given the audio guide in Italian where the route and history of the palace is explained and described. The tickets were exchanged for the entrance pass, but we had to walk around the building because the entrance reserved for our ticket was not well signposted. On site, we had no indication via the service provider of what we were entitled to with our pass. However, we had a great time, and I think a trip to Budapest requires a visit to the thermal baths.

We also went to go spend time in the indoor areas of the baths but left straight away as we felt they were very unclean. Hungarian Parliament is a must see of the city od Budapest. The audio tour is well organizaed and lasts enough time to see the most important places inside the building. The E-Tickets worked well and the Parliament Tour was great. My reason for the 5 stars was the Purpleliner boat tour. We got there 30 minutes early and the line was huge. 90% of the seating was interior and 70% of those seats were either interior seats or you were shooting through windows. There was a limited area on top at the rear of the boat and we found some space there. I don't know if there was an audio tour inside but we did not hear anything upstairs. I was suggest using another boat operator.

The spa needed a paint job and didnt represent the images shown advertising it. I enjoyed it but felt a little let down by images. The river cruise audio was excellent and informative however the cruise itself was on a boat that did not have an outside seating arrangment and ther is no info when booking given on this. Had i known i would not have booked purpleliner for this cruise. Also when i booked the only option gve to me was 5.30 pm and this was the worst time to go because the sun afected everything

I'm a fish, so Széchenyi was made for me. I loved the site, all the different baths on offer, the hammams and saunas. The outdoor pool with massaging jet and the central river also make for a great time. It's a very friendly place where no one is shy. The three-hour experience was truly unforgettable.

Overall, our experience with the combo spa and river cruise package was positive. The night before our scheduled cruise, we received an email informing us that the 11:00 a.m. boat tour had been cancelled. We were offered alternative times and rebooked onto one of those, which worked out well as it allowed us to visit the spa earlier in the day. This actually turned out to be a better option, as the spa became noticeably busier later on. The spa itself was decent, with a variety of pools, steam rooms, and saunas. However, it wasn’t quite as relaxing as we had hoped—particularly in the steam rooms and saunas, where there was a lot of foot traffic and interruptions, though that’s somewhat to be expected. One downside was that maintenance work was being carried out on the central outdoor pool. The pool was covered with a tatty, ripped sheet that detracted from the overall atmosphere. It would have been better if the area had been presented more neatly, especially given the spa’s aesthetic. Considering that one of the main outdoor pools was out of use, we felt the experience should have been discounted accordingly. Following the spa, we went on the river cruise, which was a highlight. The staff on the boat were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, which made for an enjoyable and informative trip.

The problem was the management of the delivery of the tickets. A family bought tickets at a student price when one of them was over age. Instead of attending to the group and then to the cheaters, first they solved the problem with the mess of refunding tickets, buying them again, they did not want to buy them all again, only the cheaters, in short, a mess.... and then they attended to the group making us have to go with unnecessary haste, waiting under the sun for half an hour. I think the cheaters should have waited at the end and if it gives them time well and if not also. Otherwise Rossie was charming and punctual, but I think she should have done it the other way around, first the group and then the cheaters. The visit was great!

The thermal baths are a real blast! Although the central outdoor pool is under construction, everything else is in operation and worth a visit. The cruise on the Danube at night was spectacular! We forgot the headphones and still we could download the pdf guide that explained in writing the same as the audio guide said, in order and with pictures! A 10!!! I recommend you to take the side where the guide starts (download it first in the QR that there is at the entrance and look what is the first thing that speaks to you), in our case it was the right side. If we come back we will repeat!

I had an incredible experience at the Széchenyi Thermal Baths in Budapest! The atmosphere is absolutely stunning — the grand Neo-Baroque architecture combined with the steamy outdoor pools was incredible. The water was the perfect temperature, and there were plenty of pools to explore, both indoor and outdoor. Everything felt clean and well-maintained. The building is beautiful, as are the outdoor baths. The water in the indoor baths was not clear but relatively green. The maintenance of the baths, the faded paint, at times there is even more. I think it's a pity that the baths aren't better maintained, when they could be magnificent. The principle of the cabins is great. The staff aren't very friendly, although I'm a positive, smiling person. If you have to choose, you'd be better off going to one of Budapest's lesser-known baths, but it's definitely worth a visit.

However, it was a bit frustrating that we had to wait around for over half an hour before the tour just to sort out the tickets as they insisted we arrive 15 minutes early for a 2:30 tour and if we are late we will not be refunded. So we arrived at 2:00 to be safe and then they don't actually open the gates for us until 2:45. So we were waiting for 45 minutes and then the tour was only 45 minutees. I feel like this process could be much more efficient.

Everything worked out wonderfully. It was easy to find our way around, we had a locker but no cabin. The bathroom was being remodeled, so only a good, it could have been specified. There are a lot of people there but you don't really feel it. We benefited from the sauna and steam room and so after the bath I had no more pain in my legs after a long time.

The welcome at the spa was warm. We took private cabins to store our things and I liked the concept. The cabins are very easy to open and close with the wristband. We went at 4:30 pm and it wasn't very crowded. The outdoor pool is magnificent. The little indoor baths are cute but the smell of the place is really not pleasant and the water is not clear.

The food service, of medium-low quality, should be improved. Private cabins small but very useful and safe. Easy and recommended online reservation, also to skip the line at the entrance.
