Well, the castle itself, of course, is beautiful. The grounds are lovely, and the weather was very nice. The staff working there are very friendly and helpful. Great experience! As far as getting the tickets, it was very easy. Simple, clear process.

The chateau at Chaumont sur Loire is magnificent. The guided tour was fascinating. The gardens on the theme of resilience are remarkable. The park is also very beautiful. The only drawback is the expensive, average-quality on-site catering.

We really enjoyed all the chateaux, but we were disappointed by the excessive number of visitors to Clos Lucé.

Beautiful castle, inside and out, even if less grandiose than Chamborf, with art exhibitions. Beautiful gardens, especially the garden festival.
