Changing of the Guard with Optional Buckingham Palace Grounds Guided Walking Tour

Our tourgide, Louise, was the best! She scoped out the perfect viewing spaces for oir group and even saved space for two women who could not walk fast enough to get to the area fast enough to get a space of their own.

Lee our guide was Awesome! He was SO polite and informative. He treated us like royalty. He made sure we had front row views. He offered to take our pictures and had a wealth of information. He made sure to take care of all of our needs. Booking was easy and meet up details easy to follow. BEST EXPERIENCE OF THE DAY! Thanks Lee!

Our guide was one of the best! He told us little interesting facts while we ran around Buckingham Palace to get to see all the changing of the guards. Only thing that is not told here is that it requires to walk fast to get to see all the strategic points of the changing of the guards. Particularly, I would have preferred to stay where the changing of the guards were happening at the entrance of Buckingham Palace so all my pictures could have Buckingham on the background, but that’s a personal preference.

Prinzipiell war die Führung gut, der Guide hat viel Wissenswertes nähergebracht. Leider sind wir erst im Nachhinein per Email informiert worden, dass der Wachwechsel am Buckingham Palace abgesagt wurde. Treffzeit vormittags, Email bzgl Absage erfolgte Abends um 22.20Uhr.

It was informative however because the your guide keeps on walking instead of staying in one place during the change of guards and thought that we can catch it up in the last stop in the barracks but it was cancelled because it rained. A bit disappointed because we didn't witness it but if she stop by the horse guard maybe we can witness some of it.

Paul, unserer Guide hat uns viele Details gegeben und es waren zwei tolle Stunden um den Buckingam Palace. Der König Charles III. auf seinen Weg zu Buckingam Palace zu sehen war eine tolle Überaschung dieser Aktivität.

It was NOT a guided tour of the palace - these only take place in the summer months, but only during the changing of the guard. The title and the description are absolutely misleading.

Michael was a fabulous tour guide for the Buckingham Palance tour on Sunday, March 24th. Our family of six from Tennessee USA really appreciated his knowledge and sense of humor as well. He kept everyone together and was very professional. This was our first tour of our vacation and it started out great! Thank you Michael!

Jo was a fantastic and personable tour guide! She had a lot of fun knowledge, and made it a fun experience. She communicated the guidelines and helpful hints of where to stand to view the changing of the guard so we could have the best experience possible! You don't watch the changing at the gates of the palace, but at the gates down the street where the guards walk directly to you and past you. It was a very neat experience!!

Overall, it was a very pleasant, interesting and relaxed tour around Buckingham Palace. Our guide Robert was very entertaining and humorous on his tour route, always just in time for the changing of the guard - we always had a front row seat and were able to take lots of great videos. Even when my sound equipment broke down, he immediately provided me with a new one. All in all, a very successful tour peppered with personal memories but also with specialist knowledge about the changing of the guard, thank you for that!

Paul was extremely knowledgeable and answered any group queries He was a brilliant guide who, although kept us to time scales, was happy to spend a few moments going in to great detail around relative history and facts. Additionally, to give the group time to capture pictures and videos Had we have done this independently we would not have seen all the guards and horses so timely and close. Thank you

The tour does not actually go through Buckingham Palace, but only up and down the public streets in front of the palace. The guide was very good and gave a great explanation. But if you expect a visit to the palace, you will be disappointed...

I loved the tour and some of the predesignated places we had on our tour. The staterooms were amazing. My tour guide was good but made disparaging comments about LA and California during the tour. My fiance and I are from San Diego and found this offensive, unrelated to the tour in London and biased. She knows nothing of where our political attitudes lie and obviously knows nothing about California. I hope in her future tours she will remain more detached from her personal feelings and opinions and stay on the focus of the tour in London.

What happened is that nowhere did it say that it was in English, and we spoke Spanish, so we did not understand anything of what the guide said, until we entered the palace and they gave us the palace guide with options in Spanish.

Going to Buckingham Palace has been a dream of mine since 1981 when I saw the Royal Wedding. It was everything I imagined and more! I couldn't recommend it enough. It made our trip to London complete.

This was a very great experience with my family. We have seen in photos and videos and now seeing it real. It was amazing to see where the monarchy lives and runs Great Britain. There were many beautiful paintings reflecting the history of England.
