Big Bus: 1/2/3-Day Hop-On Hop-Off Tour of Budapest

It was lovely city,very beautiful.... But couldn't hear the person telling us about stops etc,as this wasn't said through ear phones.. Also changing a bus? Don't get that,I use these buses world wide and staff change,not the whole bus getting off asnd on to another each day,very inconvenient & as we had a disabled friend with us,was but of a problem. Having said all that staff were kind & courteous . . Ticket was extended 3 rd day,so we really appreciated this.

It as avaliable every 10-20 minutes, goes on every most important places to see in Budapest and cruise is in price. We just love it.

We used it over 3 days. Experience was good and bad. In general audio was clear and had interesting facts. On one bus with a table downstairs the audio was completely stuck on Hungarian only, I got the Tour bus courier to verify this. I didn't have the option to move because I was on crutches and with a folding wheel chair to mind. Some buses had ramps ,many didn't. The steps were very high to use crutches but the staff were generally patient and helped me to get in and out. The black adhesive layer on the windows of the left side of the bus greatly obscures the view of the sights. Many people had obviously peeled some off to see. There's nothing to secure a wheelchair from rolling or falling over. One staff member let my chair fall and left it lyuout into the pathway of other passengers so I had to stay alert to warn people about the hazard of tripping over it and so I didn't enjoy that trip. It is very confusing about where the boat trips go from . Yes it is stop 2 or 13, but we got a taxi to it because of my crutches and we were not able to say dock 6 and it was not easy to find. All signs at stops could be made larger and easier to identify. The buses were clean and punctual, most of the staff were fine.

The guides and drivers were competent, but the big problem was the lack of visibility at the stops. The tour also went round in circles at certain points. As far as the thermal baths were concerned, they were a breeding ground for microbes: the changing rooms were very dirty, the baths overcrowded and the population very young and noisy. We didn't bathe and left immediately.

Hi, the experience was acceptable and not great because on one of the two buses we took it was very cold and because the audio guide was very superficial compared to other European cities. The beauty of City Sight Seeing is just being able to listen to the guide as you travel, if there is little information there is no point in spending 30 euros. Thank you

We have tried the hop on hop off in several cities and Budapest's was pretty good. Our family of 4 got 48 hour tickets and I think we made 4 trips plus enjoyed the included river cruise as well. The HOHO employees that we interacted with were very helpful and good natured.

Very convenient tour service not only because of the guide but because you can get on and off whenever you want. The guide unfortunately was slightly late so some things are lost, but being able to then get off where you want or redo the tour you get them back

We did the two day hop on hop off bus tour which was good. We also had a cruise included, which was an enjoyable experience. The only issue was that it was unclear where to board the cruise, and the agent we chatted to online gave us the incorrect dock number (Silverline Cruises) while it turned out we had to board at a different dock (big red bus, as far as I can remember)

The staff were accomodating If you like to go around the city in one day, take the hop on hop off sightseeing bus tour

The women helping and giving out pamphlets were so helpful! They gave us directions to begin with as we had arrived too early ... great service

Collecting the tickets was pretty straightforward. The bus was as expected. The only issue what's with the audio, specifically the narration. The vocabulary and grammar were not of a proper English speaker, and occasionally the accent was difficult to understand.

The buses were very regular and there was always enough room to be able to board It was also very helpful that there was a representative at every bus stop. The included river cruise was an extra bonus and well worthwhile. We booked a 3 day ticket and thought we could only take the bboat trip once. We were told when we boarded that we could take further trips. We took the evening trip to see the lights. Far and away the best value for money in Budapest

Everything worked very well with the electronic ticket.

I liked the fact that they took us all over the city.

The price was good for 3 days, plus a tour for 1 hour and a cruise.... well organised. Would definitely recommend.

Learning about Budapest and being able to see more of the city

Bus was never more than 10 mins away and the staff was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend it!!!
