We were extremely limited on time in Istanbul, but were determined to see Hagia Sophia. We had a flight to catch at 1:40 at IST.... we took the street train to Hagia Sophia, and had our tickets ready to go at 9am. The skip the line was worth every penny (I'm not even sure how much extra if any it was). We were able to walk right in, no wait. Come prepared and dressed appropriately- women in modest clothing (no tank tops, and you need a scarf) and men must wear pants. I got a kick out of my scarf actually matching the ceiling plaster patterns. The full walk through was very informative and the audio tour corresponded with the stops also numbered in the mosque. All in all, it took about an hour and I don't feel it was rushed or we were shortchanged on seeing anything in it. I do wish we had more time to see the museum close by though!

Visiting Hagia Sophia with skip-the-line tickets was an incredible experience. The entry process was seamless and saved us so much time compared to the long lines outside. Stepping inside was absolutely breathtaking—seeing the massive dome, the blend of Christian mosaics and Islamic calligraphy, and the scale of the architecture made it feel like walking through multiple layers of history at once. The atmosphere was powerful, especially with the natural light streaming in, and it really gave me chills thinking about all the centuries of people who have stood in the same spot. The crowds were large, but moving smoothly, and having the tickets ready made the entire visit stress-free and enjoyable. Truly one of the highlights of our trip and a place I’ll never forget.

Fantastic to show the water works already constructed by the Romans. Crowds were fine. Must-see among other historical attractions in the area. Too bad the fast-lane queue was quite crowded and when scanning we got the message that tickets were already used. Was solved after contact with booking agency but took time.

Booked this tour online while standing in the very long ticket line for Hagia Sophia, as it was mid-priced between the "ticket only" price and the "experience tour" advertised widely around the monument. Were considerably worried for the next 30 minutes because it was completely ambiguous where to actually meet, and the various local officials are all fairly dismissive (tired and fed up). But, to be fair, I did then receive a Whatsapp message after 30 minutes that was detailed and effective. Once we joined the tour we still had to join the security line, which thankfully was moving quickly by then! Ths guide was great, his english was good, the little extra was definitely worth it for the history and insight provided.

Definintely helps, but there is some abiguity about what "skip the line" actually means. This service does not offer a fast track entrance into the Hagia Sophia, it just menas you dont have to queue to purchase tickets in a separate place and then join the queue for entrance. Having said that I would suggest that you do try and find time to visit this building - regardless of the queues to get in in, which in fairness did move reasonably quickly. It is a beautiful place. I should also say that it may be my mistake that I did not see what "skip the line" actually meant, so I am highlighting here not as a criticism, but just in case anyone else makes a similar assumption.

Getting the ticket was very easy from the web site. This allowed easy access without to much queuing. Took about 5 minutes from getting through the entrance to being inside the Hagia Sophia. Inside was everything I had expected with the sense of history hitting you as you first walk onto the balcony looking down on the main mosque floor bellow. This must have been a wonderful site all those centuries ago, and still is. I thoughrouly enjoyed my experience and would recommend to anyone interested in history.

We were looking forward to seeing this well known church turned into mosque and the monument was even more impressive than expected. However, the skip the line tickets we had booked did not help with skipping the line. We wasted about half an hour walking past the line only to be told "no skip the line, all tickets wait in line, it's a misunderstanding ".

If I wanted to use the audio guide I would have to take the tour alone without the option of joining the group and without reimbursement. The guide was very knowledgeable but sometimes too much information given for too long standing in one spot. We were able to skip queue for Cistern and Hagia Sophia but not Blue Mosque so spent a long time in the queue. Good to have the half hour break before the last site. My husband lost his headset in the Blue Mosque and we were unable to go back looking for it and we thought 50€ replacement cost exorbitant. Surely an occasional loss is factored into costs and insurance

Hagia Sophia is amazing and well worth a visit, even though the tickets are a bit pricey. We went in the afternoon, a couple of hours before closing time, so we were definitely glad to be able to skip the line and devote more time to the visit. One small thing to improve: after the purchase, I've received multiple Headout mails with attachments, so I got a bit mixed about which one to show at the entrance, luckily I was able to use the wifi there (I had no internet on my phone - very common problem among EU tourists) and I was helped by Hagia Sophia staff to retrieve the correct e-mail with the actual tickets. One e-mail with all attachments would be preferable!

The ticket staff were helpful in displaying the cue codes for easy access to view. It was fabulous being able to go straight into the venue. Steps and rails secure and provided extra security negotiating the dimmer lighting till eyes became accustomed to the environment. Plenty of room walking on the grided metal walk ways. The tour was well organized, the guide was good, but it was difficult to find the guide, because in the place mentioned, there were several guides with the same references mentioned in the description of the tiket, color of flag, etc... the tours all start at the same time there are more than 10 tours/guides in the same place and each with their respective groups, so it ends up being a crowd of people...

The name of the activity is misleading. There is no skipping the line. It is simply impossible. In fact you skip the line to purchase but not to enter. For the basilica cistern, on the other hand, you enter directly by skipping the line

Small group.. remember to bring a scarf for your head (ladies) and cover your knees (both men and women) otherwise you have to buy a scarf or skirt. The guide tried to tell you the important things. But the distraction of the guide was annoying. When he wants to show the photos, he goes on and on and on, then decides that it's not the right album after all. Search, search, search again. And so on, several times. It's an impressive site that still impresses me with its beauty. You can enter for free if you pray, but the security guards ask you to recite the Koran. My relatives have used this entrance. For my part, I found that the paying queue without a queue cutter was interminable. Under a blazing sun, I went to your site and took my ticket in less than 2 minutes. I then ran out as we were approaching closing time for the morning. Inside, I let my feelings carry me from one point of view to another. Everything is gigantic, and the experience gave me a great deal of peace despite the crowds. My relatives who had gone to pray were down below, and the rest of us visitors were up above. The quietude of the prayers was preserved.

Our guide, Michael, was in the expected place and knowledgeably took the group to each of the three historic locations, explained their context and interesting and historical details. We were allowed our own time in each location before meeting back at an agreed place for the next stop on the tour. No real queues in the 4th week of June on a 1pm booking, but great to skip lines on this tour where possible. Apparently the rules have changes in the Hagia Sophia allowing guides to take visitors around the 2nd level which meant that Michael could explain the Christian and Muslim iconography in this exceptional 6th century building. We were able to visit the basilica on our own. It makes sense to have your knees and shoulders covered and ladies should bring a scarf for their hair. Moreover, the guiga gives time to the group after its speigation when you have now exited the attraction, while inside it is easy to lose it because it runs quickly to the exit. The guide Ali, was incredibly knowledgeable - his guiding added real depth to each of the three sights and he was able to take care of us well, preparing us for any practical arrangements e.g. dress codes, queuing, meeting places, toilets etc.. these details are important! The Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and Hagia Sophia were fascinating and beautiful places to visit and worth doing with a guide lest you miss key details. I'd do the trip all over again if given the opportunity and the wonderful guide.

The guide was nice enough, and knew a lot, as much as I could tell. His microphone connection to our earpieces failed, so that was a major problem. He also needs to say "ladies and gentlemen " less often, it waslike a distracting nervous tic. He must have inserted it 50-70 times in the 3 site talks.

Hussein was a fantastic guide - informative, relaxed, and hospitable. He took us through the 2 mosques and the cistern with practised ease - making for a comfortable and very enjoyable experience. The audio earpieces worked well and ensured our group could follow easily Hussein's excellent guidance. Hussein was also generous with answering extra questions and allowing group members to spend their own time at the sites and use the facilities. Overall, an excellent tour and well worth it.

It is nice, a touristic place to know about how 2 different cultures were combined. Having the skip the line was great to avoid the purchase tickets lane and then the line to go inside. They have a free audio guide in Hagia Sophia, with free internet so don't buy any additional service for it, just make sure you bring your earphones.

There was no mention of a fast-track ticket. You just save yourself the trouble of buying a ticket on site. You still have to join the queue. A waiting time of around 30 minutes is not fast-track entry after all. Consolation: it's worth it though. The Hagia Sophia is well worth a visit.

Luckily we booked the tickets online beforehand and were there straight away in the morning. We had to wait about 20 minutes. After a short security check, we went straight into the mosque. Unfortunately, only the upper part is still open to visitors, but it was very interesting. The public toilets outside were very clean.

We feared bad surprises after reading some negative comments online, but in Istanbul everything went perfectly . Precise and punctual organization, directions are given to the meeting point and via app everything is very convenient and at hand. Pleasant tour, our guide, Ali (I unfortunately do not remember his full name), was a nice guy, knowledgeable and very helpful. We had a great time with him, the explanation given was just the right length, neither too short nor too long, and the time flew by. Very convenient the skip-the-line ticket, considering the crowds of tourists.

The only thing I liked was skipping the queues. I do not recommend the visit at all. It is the only mosque where they charge admission and you can't go in! You can only access the second floor. I do not recommend it at all even though it is a majestic building because I think it is an abuse to charge you to see it from above.

Buying tickets in advance meant I didn't have to queue on the spot (but early in the morning the queue is moderate...) Negative point: the timetables provided by Headout are both contradictory and inutally worrying: in fact you can turn up at any time at the entrance with the QR code and... that's it (there's no guide provided anyway -- except your smartphone as long as it can access the network).

I was very disappointed. It is not a museum anymore, it is just a mosque now. Hagia Sophia was wonderful museum before, a unique combination of historical and cultural heritage. Now it is just a money machine for foolish foreigners, you can not see anything because the usual visitors paying to see nothing. Before I used to love going back. I will wait to turn to museum again before visit it again.

We bought skip the line tickets the night before for €33.50 each. The next day, Sunday, we went along at 2pm and didn't have to queue at all. Hagia Sophia is spectacular, well worth seeing. We are not Muslim so could only see from first floor balcony which wraps all the way around but you still get a good view of it

My visit to Hagia Sophia was good... but Headout should rename this offer. You DO skip a line (a relateively short one at the ticket office), but you WILL stand in the much loonger line (that wraps around the block) to actually get in. All that said, the onloine ticket worked fine.

I expected to visit the mosque completely and not seen from the 1 second floor terrace. My wife who was going back there after 27 years at Santa sofia was disappointed, she said she would not have bought tickets if this was specified before buying tickets. I can understand that the faithful pray from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. But can you make a walkway for foreigners as well because surely seen from below it has another value. Thank you

I finally got to visit the great Hagia Sophia. While getting to explore the upper level was a blessing, I don't understand why the lower level is off limits. Even the Blue Mosque is open to non-Muslims. If I had gotten to explore the lower level, my visit would have been perfect. This is not Headout's fault, but something that is on my mind.
