From Rome: Pompeii Day Trip

Great trip!! Not just a bus ride, we were treated to a lovely guided drive through a bit of Italy. Our guide Andrea was full of information and wonderful! Would highly recommend.

Well organised, comfortable bus journey. Good guide on the bus. Nice break with cleane toilets and opportunity for refreshment. Very good!

It was not mentioned that the guided tour was not included. It was not mentioned that the audio guide was not included. It was not mentioned that the meal was not included. Only 2 hours on site. I did not meet an agent inside the park.

Excellent transportation, a 10 to the driver who was at an excellent speed and attentive to the road. Excellent guide, Katy. Very friendly and attentive to the group. The only drawback, the service area where they stop to "have a snack", charges 3 € for the cappuccino, when I know, that in bar, you can not charge me more than 2 €. And the paninis, very expensive. Little time in the ruins of Pompeii to go to a viewpoint in Naples that was out of the question. If I want to see Naples, I travel to Naples, I wanted the most hours in pompeii. But it was nice and safe bus transportation. It was appreciated because of how they normally drive in Italy.

Everything is well thought out, the meeting point is clear, the guide was very kind (and spoke good French), the quick bus tour of Napples is well worth the detour, and afterwards you can choose to stay with the group or discover Pompei on your own. Top bus driver We loved this experience

Comfortable volvo bus with usb, Very professional quide, with very good sense of humour, talking the all way and back. Bad that we stopped 2 times at the same pit stop where snacks price is 2-3x. Check all places around for food on google maps.

Our group leader, Gabriele, was exceptional, very attentive and friendly. He also made several interesting comments throughout the tour. The tour bus was comfortable, and we also enjoyed the panoramic tour of Naples. I recommend this tour.

Visiting Pompeii is a unique experience, a trip back to a marvellous past. And Michela, our hostess on bus, was kind, pleasant and really helpful!

Our guides were great and I loved the time in Pompeii. Napoli was OK. The food arranged for lunch was a little disappointing, though. I would recommend this company and the guided tour in Pompeii, but maybe not the food offering.

Very good guide, for Naples and Pompeii, on the other hand lunch included in the price not at all up to the mark, even scandalous, piegz a tourist a disgrace bus transport very good, stop halfway in a coffee shop, overpriced attention.

This was perfect for me! The price was reasonable and it included even more than I expected. On the bus ride there, we also got a tour through the city of Naples.

The excursion was great! They picked you up and on the way by bus they explained things of interest. I chose the option of transfer and entrance without a guide, but even so from the bus they explained things about Naples, the most significant places and we got off to take pictures at a key point. As far as the Pompeii park is concerned I think it is something you have to see at least once in your life... in my humble opinion, I think it could be done differently as it gets a bit boring and tiresome to walk through the ruined streets over and over again. I thought the park was a little more interactive with explanations of the explosion, explanations of how they were petrified and fossilized, reconstruction of how the city and its inhabitants were but it was not the case. The lake only shows the ruins, remains and streets of what once was the city. Nevertheless I recommend the excursion for its good organization and for its complete explanation to the tourists.

Great host (thanks Katie) and bus driver (Juan Franco). Left on time , and just the no fuss trip and tickets we wanted for Pompeii. Only negative comment was the hour driving through the traffic jams and dodgy neighbourhoods of Napoli. An hour we would rather have spent in Pompeii.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The coach was on time and exactly where where they said it would be. The guide for our coach trip was excellent, she knew we weren't booked for a guided tour so she gave us a map with plenty of information on the best spots to see and where to find them. I'd never used Headout before but every booking has been a success. Would fully recommend.

Estuvieron en la hora correcta en el sitio indicado. Katty fue una guía muy amable y divertida. Nos enseñó varias curiosidades de Roma y otras tantas que se podían ver por el camino. Cuando llegamos nos dejaron en Pompeya y nos recogieron a la hora acordada. Llegamos a Roma 20 minutos antes. Recomendable la experiencia.

The highlight of our vacation. It is a bit weird to be stuck in a bus full of people who were part of a guided group. This experience is the bus tickets and the entrance to Pompeii plus a drive-through tour of Naples. I wish for better communication of what exactly the schedule of the day entails beforehand. The stuff were kind, informative and helpful.

last year I traveled with this great team to pompeii, I only took the free tour of the destroyed city but the attentions of the staff were excellent. Thank you.

Nous avons été agréablement surprises. Nous avions choisi cette option simplement pour le voyage en bus de Rome a Pompéi et avons finalement eu la chance de passer par Naples et profiter, au cours du voyage, de la bienveillance et du professionnalisme de nos formidables guides, aussi cultivés qu'intéressants, Guglielmo et Vittorio. Nous avons fait la visite de Pompei seules mais si c'était à refaire, nous profiterions des connaissances qu'ils nous auraient apporté. Je recommande vivement !

It was fun trip to Pompeii. It was great to see mountains and city of Napolis on the bus. Only thing is to consider that this tour doesn't include guide. Additionally meeting point was confusing beacuse it was located incorrectly and on the ticket was said that tour host will hold pink sign "I love Rome" which he didn't. We had to check every bus near the meeting point to find our tour bus. But overall this tour was amazing, bus host was very friendly and gave us all instructions. Pompeii is huge, so I maybe recommend you to take guide for this trip. It was quite exhausting to walk around in this city. I recommend you to take some food and water for this trip with you.

The problem was having to collect the tour guide from Napoli, which put hours on our journey it was tiresome and caused us to arrive at both the venue and home much later than anticipated
