Our guide, Saber, was super attentive. He had a wealth of knowledge about the history of the pyramids (and beyond) which made us even more enchanted with Giza. He took us to the main sites and always warned us about possible scammers. As a bonus, he spoke Portuguese, which made the whole experience even more incredible.

It was very exciting to see the pyramids and go through the pyramids and walking up the tight stairs to see the king's tomb. Yeah, at the top of the pyramid. The air warm walking up the stairs, you have to be in pretty good shape. Should have hiking shoes or tennis shoes. Do not wear dress shoes whatsoever. The ground is uneven.

I had an amazing time travelling to the Pyramid complex, I felt nervous because I was travelling alone as a woman and had heard some stories about being cautious. With headout and my lovely guide Saber I learnt all about the pyramids and spent the afternoon looking at traditional Egyptian paintings, rugs and fragrances. Othman was our guide and he was awesome. He picked us up in our lobby of our hotel, and had a private driver and an air-conditioned sedan. The 30 minute drive to the pyramids from our hotel consisted of historical discussions about ancient Egypt, which was very educational and worthwhile. He brought us to the entrance of the museum, and we took golf carts to the doors as the doors were far from the main entrance. The geezer Patto is set up with a Buss system and we took various buses to go from one pyramid to the next. Oh, while our guide educated us. We paid the extra fee for a 20 minute camel ride and entrance into the great pyramid. A must if visiting Cairo.
