You can't holiday in Greece without going to Corfu. This quaint island in the Ionian Sea is famous for its cosmopolitan Old Town, spectacular landscapes, and lovely beaches. Interestingly, the city's history is influenced by the Venetians, English, French, and Russians - all of whom have left a mark on the island. To make the best of your time here and to experience this amazing historical legacy, hop on a double-decker bus and go sightseeing.
The 60-minute Kanoni route will begin with the Old Town. Hop off here, and feel like an aristocrat as you walk along the romantic labyrinth-like alleways towards Old Fortress and New Fortress, and the Palace of St. Michael and St. George. Hop on again and see the 19th-century villa of Mon Repos, or go exploring Spianada Square, gazing up at the Venetian forts and churches all around you. Whenever you feel like you need to fuel up, stop by a restaurant and treat yourself to dishes that show off Italian touches and the island’s exquisite Mediterranean produce!
