why watch the high table
While homosexuality is gradually emerging as an accepted norm in several nations across the globe, it is no secret that a sizable portion of the older generation continues to struggle to come to terms with its implications in society. This reluctance is especially magnified when they are forced to accept the sexual identity or orientation of their own siblings and children. Temi Wilkey perfectly captures this dynamic with her compelling storytelling and profound character development.
Temi Wilkey is a celebrated director and actor who is well-known for co-founding the Drag King Company, Pecs. From her extraordinary presentation of The Comedy of Errors at the National Theatre to her Hamlet and Cymbaline for the Royal Shakespeare Company, Wilkey is considered to be amongst the most promising upcoming directors of the decade.
