My daughters knew nothing about the Phantom of the Opera so it was fun watching their faces and body language as the emotions of each moment played out. We all loved the richness of the costumes and set designs. My husband and I saw the opera in Vancouver many years ago and I fought hard not to cry as I remembered singing the duets with him for months afterward. The Phantom's beautiful lingering "love me" broke my reserve. Losing your love is just like that moment! I'm crying as I write.

This version of R&J is just incredible!! The theater itself is really beautiful. The show was really special and the atmosphere just perfect. And the cast was obviously really really great with Sadie Sink, Noah Juoe and Clark Gregg.

Gostei muito da equipe do Soho Place Theatre; foram super prestativos e simpáticos. Muito obrigado. Mas não gostei do musical: nossos filhos ficaram entediados e alguns dos meus amigos foram embora no intervalo.

Cenografia muito bem cuidada, artistas excelentes tanto na atuação quanto no canto. Ritmo, movimento, encanto. Uma história contada de forma viva e emocionante.

Antes de assistir, eu já esperava adorar o Oliver, o personagem principal, pois imaginava que ele cantaria a maioria das músicas; por isso, fiquei encantada ao ver canções em coro como “Oompa-pa”, “I shall scream Mr Bumble” e “It’s Your Funeral”. O clima do espetáculo muda tantas vezes que parece uma verdadeira jornada. Fagin também esteve excelente; Simon Lipkin é um ator com grande presença física e seus trejeitos estavam perfeitamente afinados. Mal posso esperar para voltar.

A atuação é profissional. O clima era emocionante. Parecia real e a história era interessante e muito surpreendente.
