Jump on this magical journey through Seoul that is the perfect blend of history, culture, and aesthetic appeal. Start off your tour carefree by hopping aboard the air-conditioned minivans that pick up visitors from their respective hotels in Downtown Seoul. The trip commences at the Bukchon Hanok village, which is sprinkled with many traditional houses called “hanok”. The Bukchon Cultural Centre will give you a taste of the cultural delicacy that is Bukchon.
Next in line are the infamous world heritage-listed sites, the Changdeokgung Palace, and the Jongmyo Royal Shrine. On Mondays, you will be taken to the Gyeongbokgung Palace instead of Changdeokgung. The Gyeongbokgung Palace served as the principle palace until 1592, when it was burnt to the ground. On Tuesdays, instead of the Royal Shrine, you will be taken to Insadong, a social hub in Seoul that is lined with art galleries, craft stores, and traditional tea houses.
Listen closely to the tour guide for fascinating facts about these sites, and how they represent the beauty of Seoul. Make a stop at the Sejong centre that comprises of King Sejong’s exhibition hall and all his scientific and political contributions to the country. On Mondays, you’ll be escorted to the National Museum of of Korean Contemporary History instead of the Sejong Centre.
Take a lunch break and devour a full-course Korean meal called the Hanjeonsgsik that comes with a variety of side dishes. After lunch, find yourself in the exciting city of Suwon, where you will visit the Hwaseong Haenggung Palace and the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. Pick up facts about the city’s history and Korean royalty from your tour guide and learn about the city’s culture and how it came to be.

- The Pickup and drop-off services are for hotels centrally located in Seoul alone (downtown). However, if the visitor’s accommodation is out of Seoul (for instance, Incheon), then they can still book this service at an extra charge.

Pro Tip:
There is a lot of walking involved in this tour, especially at the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. Wearing comfortable footwear would be recommended.
