Zwiedzanie Pompejów było fantastycznym doświadczeniem! Wszystko poszło gładko, choć zgodnie z oczekiwaniami było dość tłoczno od turystów. Jednak podróż z Neapolu była niezapomniana - jazdę pociągiem uświetnił akordeonista grający tradycyjną włoską muzykę, a pasażerowie klaskali. Nie jestem pewien, czy zdarza się to cały czas, ale dodało to uroku podróży. Sam Neapol tętni życiem, z pysznym jedzeniem i mnóstwem do zobaczenia. Pompeje to skarbnica historii, oferująca wspaniałe widoki idealne do zdjęć i niesamowitą okazję do poznania przeszłości. Gorąco polecam!

Pompeje były świetne i dobrze było mieć bilety z wyprzedzeniem, chociaż nadal trzeba było stać w kolejce, aby je zrealizować. Zrezygnowaliśmy z biletów bez przewodnika, ponieważ lubimy chodzić we własnym tempie, ale jeden dzień nie wystarczył nam, aby zobaczyć wszystko i może następnym razem weźmiemy również przewodnika, aby dowiedzieć się więcej. Wizyta w muzeum archeologicznym jest również koniecznością, ponieważ znajduje się tam wiele fresków.

Miejsca w Pompejach i Herkulanum były imponujące i obowiązkowe, gdy odwiedzasz Neapol lub, jak my, Rzym. Herkulanum jest, jak wszyscy nam mówili, wspaniałe. Pompeje są tak duże i ruchliwe, że jest to dość męczące. Ale było warto. Jesteśmy z Wielkiej Brytanii i mamy rzymskie pozostałości w domu, ale nic podobnego. Herkulanum jest łatwo dostępne, a antykwarium jest świetne. Są miejsca, w których można usiąść i po prostu wziąć to wszystko, podczas gdy Pompeje są bardziej pełne. Bilety działały dobrze.
