We waited on a long line which was not marked as being for online ticket holders until we came to the front. We were sent to another line, while there I purchased the online tix but did not realize it was for a later time. We were put back in the online tickwt holdwes line ans were told to wait..eventually being allowed to enter early.

Very well displayed. Good crowd control. The written comments beside the exhibits are relevant and if interest and above all the location is stunning.

Booked as per website for 12.30 entry time. Stood in line for 1 hour to enter museum (in the rain). My only complaint to an otherwise fantastic visit.

It was my first visit in 30 years. I was tired of too many works before, but this time, on the contrary, I was glad that the works were compacted. However, there were many works from when I was 10 years old, and I was amazed at the genius of the artist who had already completed his work, I was surprised at his genius, but I was disappointed that there were no such works this time. My husband said it was easier to understand the influence of Cubism.

Picasso Museum Malaga

The Palacio de Buenavista houses the Picasso Museum, a majestic amalgamation of Renaissance and Mudéjar architectural styles. Inside, you'll find Picasso's diverse work forms, from his pioneering cubist paintings to his transformative ceramics and drawings. An audio guide in 13 languages will accompany your exploration, providing intriguing insights into Picasso's life and work. The highlight of your visit could be the access to the 'Dialogues with Picasso' collection, which displays nearly eight decades of Picasso's evolving artistry.

Picasso's Birthplace Museum

Your Malaga journey would remain incomplete without a visit to Picasso's Birthplace Museum, a historical building that was home to Picasso until 1884. The museum allows you to trace the life and inspirations of Picasso through his personal collection of art pieces and his greatest works on display. Interestingly, Picasso's library, now a research center, holds a wealth of information about 19th-century art.
