I like Picasso, and the visit to the museum was great, but the ticket system was terrible. We had a reservation for 4:00 p.m. and didn't get in until almost 5:00 p.m. A lot of people had reservations for the same time.

Tickets were easily recognizable for museum staff. We noticed that people in front of us in the line often had problems. The museum was easily accessible and the route was clearly marked. A wonderful overview of Picasso's work and sources of inspiration. You were guided through his work in a beautifully structured way 👍

A very interesting exhibition showcasing the evolution of the artist’s work. It gives hope that everyone carries a palette in their backpack 😁😁😁. The artist’s birthplace could benefit from more exhibits from his youth. The staff were very friendly and helpful

The collection of works by Picasso was, of course, extraordinary. It is real shame that the ticketing and queueing system was so poor. We had prebooked, skip the queue tickets but still spent almost an hour in the queue. It was very clear how the process could be improved.

The Picasso museums in Malaga are full of art and interesting information, diverse and VERY beautiful. I loved seeing Picasso's art and learning about his life. In addition, there is art by many people connected to Picasso's life. The Picasso Museum tells us a lot about his life from beginning to end and has many fascinating works of art. The birthplace museum has two buildings and focuses more on Picasso and his family (in the first) and the other building tells about his relationship with one of his wives with several works of art that Picasso painted of her.

We wanted to visit Picasso Museum, we just walked there, but there was a long queue, so we checked the tickets available online. It was easy and comfortable to buy tickets for 40 minutes later - and have a walk and a coffee instead of standing in the queue. Entering was smooth, the Museum was great.
    • See Picasso in sequence. Start at his birthplace, then follow his work across 141 pieces that show how his style shifts, breaks, and rebuilds over time.

    • Experience the unique opportunity to walk through the halls of Picasso's childhood home and see early sketches, family photographs, and more

    • Inside the Picasso Museum, move from structured early work to Cubist distortions and expressive later pieces that completely change how form is used.

    • Audio guides at both museums add context where it matters, pointing out shifts in style, recurring ideas, and details you’d otherwise miss.
