The history of the pharaohs is presented in an interesting and really great way. The blast furnace area is unfortunately only possible with a scheduled guided tour. The football and natural history museum is also worth a visit. The Thier-Galerie in the city center is a great place to store and eat.

Opened in January 2023 inside the historic Phoenixhalle, this cultural space follows the celebrated concept of Paris’ Atelier des Lumières. Through advanced projection technology and sound design, it brings the works of renowned artists to life in an entirely new way.

At Phoenix des Lumières, visitors are transported into vibrant worlds of color, movement, and music, an artistic encounter set within the striking industrial backdrop of the former gas blower hall at Phoenix West.
