We had a 10 year old with us, and the guide took his hand and gently escorted him around, and he had a great time. It is not an easy place to visit, but we would like to come back on a nice day. My wife loved the whiskey!

Went with my partner for our anniversary—honestly, this blew all our expectations outta the water. The first time you step onto the ice, it's like the world goes quiet for a sec. The crampons felt weird at first (I kept looking down, lol), but after a while it's just pure magic everywhere. Our guide, Sofia, was suuuper patient, especially when my bf kept lagging for pics. Pro tip: bring a windbreaker, even if the sun’s out, cause it gets CHILLY. Would do this again in a heartbeat.

Went with my boyfriend, and wow, walking on the glacier was honestly something else. I was a bit nervous about the crampons but the guides helped everyone, even my bf who was totally clueless at first, lol. Boat ride over was chilly, but we just bundled up. The blue ice is wild in person, way more INTENSE than pics. Only thing, wish we had a little more time to wander on our own, but I get it. Would do again, 100%.

Just wow. Did the Perito Moreno trek with my husband and two teens, and it really did feel like being on another planet. Our guide, Matias, was HILARIOUS (and patient, too). Kids were obsessed with the crampons—like, they just wanted to run everywhere, which was not allowed lol. The views are EPIC, not kidding, and hearing the ice crack under your feet is kinda wild. We got lucky with the weather (sunny but chilly), but def bring a windbreaker, the gusts are no joke. Only downside: we wished the glacier walk part lasted a little bit longer. Still, memories for life. If you’re on the fence, just go for it.
  • Walk on the Perito Moreno Glacier and feel the thrill of stepping on ancient ice. This guided mini trekking adventure blends adrenaline, stunning scenery, and a once-in-a-lifetime chance to explore one of the world’s few advancing glaciers.

    Getting started

Your adventure begins at Puerto Bajo de las Sombras in Los Glaciares National Park, where you’ll meet your guides and board a boat across Brazo Rico. As you sail close to the glacier’s towering south face, excitement builds for the icy adventure ahead. After landing, a short walk brings you to the starting point of your glacier trek.

    What to expect

Led by expert mountain guides, this tour lets you safely walk across the glacier itself—discovering crevasses, lagoons, and crystal-blue ice formations that few travelers ever experience. It’s the perfect mix of adventure and wonder.

    Features:

    • Walk on the glacier: Strap on your crampons and follow your guide on a one-hour walk across the ice, exploring meltwater pools and brilliant blue ridges along the way.

    • Scenic forest trail: Hike through native lenga and ñire forests before and after your trek, surrounded by pure Patagonian wilderness and breathtaking glacier views.

    • Toast to the adventure: End your glacier walk with a celebratory surprise. It is served over 10,000-year-old ice and is the perfect way to mark an unforgettable experience.

    • Upgrades: Choose the option to include hotel transfers for a seamless visit.
