    Begin at the USS Arizona Memorial Narrated Tour desk in the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center courtyard. Please present your confirmation, collect your multimedia guide, and proceed through security before beginning your tour.

    This National Park Service tour covers 23 significant stops across the Visitor Center museums, shoreline, and memorial, offering deep insight into the events of December 7, 1941. Audio narration is provided by Jamie Lee Curtis, National Park Service historians, and Pearl Harbor survivors, bringing personal accounts and historical context to each location.

  • What to bring

    • If you have boat tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial, pick up your multimedia tour device before checking in for the boat.

    • Bring a valid photo ID to match the name on your booking if requested at the entrance.

    • Wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for walking and the tropical climate.

    • Bring water to stay hydrated during your visit.

    What’s not allowed

    • Bags are prohibited at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Only clear stadium bags or bags containing medical devices or medication may be allowed at the discretion of the National Park Service.

    • Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed inside the visitor center.

    • Food and drinks (other than water) are not permitted inside the museums and memorial.

    • Pets are not permitted, except for registered service animals.

    • Alcohol, drugs, and any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited on the premises.

    • Military visitors in uniform must wear Class B or better to access the memorial; battle dress uniform is not allowed on the memorial.

    Accessibility

    • The visitor center, museums, theaters, Navy shuttle boats, and the USS Arizona Memorial are fully accessible to visitors in wheelchairs or scooters.

    • Wheelchair rentals are not provided at the visitor center.

    • Accessible parking is available near the entrance.

    • All films are fully captioned in English; induction loop available for hearing aids; braille signage and tactile models are present throughout the site.

    • Walking distances between facilities may be challenging for some visitors; benches are available for resting.

    Additional information

    • Boat tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial are not included and must be reserved separately via Recreation.gov.

    • Arrive with enough time to complete your tour before the park closes at 5pm.

    • The tour operates every day, but is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.

    • Tours are available from 7am to 5pm.

    • Paid bag storage is available near the visitor center entrance.

    • Dress respectfully, as this is a memorial site.

    • Parking is available nearby, but may require extra time to find a spot.

    • The experience may be canceled or modified due to weather or safety concerns.

    • Please use assistive devices with care; walkers with wheels should not be used as wheelchairs.

    • Cameras, cell phones, and wallets are allowed.

    • The site can be busy; plan for possible crowds and allow extra time for parking and security checks.
