We had a great driver (Zakaria) who took us from Marrakech to Ouzoud (about a 2.5-hour drive), which played a big part in making the trip enjoyable. Our guide Brahim tried to keep things lively with his cheerful attitude. Unfortunately, we sometimes had trouble understanding him due to his grammatical and conjugation errors. He was also too insistent on getting a 5/5 rating on GetYourGuide (which we didn't give him). He's very good, but forcing people to give him a 5/5 rating displeased more than a few people, so I would say he deserves a 4/5.

As for the waterfalls, they are truly beautiful, a little far from Marrakech but worth seeing. It's great that there are monkeys roaming freely. As for the desert, it was a very chill day, the traditional dinner was really good, the only thing I wasn't crazy about were the camels, animals kept in that way distress me a little, even though they didn't look malnourished or neglected or anything. It was a really nice two days.

Very nice experience, the team is professional. I'd like to start by thanking the minibus driver for his mature driving and great patience. I'd also like to thank the guide, Mr Omar, for his professionalism and warm welcome. I won't forget our guide, Mr Nabil, with his wonderful atmosphere. Everything went very well. Many thanks again.

The guide was Amazing; super nice, took great time in swearing questions, took care of everyone and told us beforehand how to refuse scammers Transport worked perfect. OBS: It's very crowded with turist and you have two wait in a line of 45 minutes for the boat part. Wort the money and a great full day trip to get out of busy Marrakesh.

It was impossible to download the tickets from the HEADOUT app. Fortunately, a gardener at the entrance to the garden was kind enough to help us out of this predicament. He saw that we had paid for our tickets on your app and registered us on another site to give us access to the entrance.

I had a problem with the purchase, and the assistance was quick and friendly. Despite the long line at the entrance to the gardens, I got in fairly quickly. The gardens are beautiful; you could spend hours there. The ticket price is definitely reasonable. Recommended.

The setting is very beautiful, but it's a six-hour round trip by road from Marrakesh to get there for just an hour and then eat. Q My husband and I went with a group, and when we arrived, they told us that they were going to provide us with a private guide just for us because we spoke Spanish. It was a great idea, except that the guide hardly spoke to us in Spanish, everything was in English, and I translated the little he said. He didn't explain much about the surroundings, the activities, the traditional house, the river, or the waterfall. It's not that he was in a hurry, but he did everything without much enthusiasm. On the other hand, during the tour, there are too many "craft" stalls for you to buy things. The food was good. We had to wait too long for them to pick us up for the return trip. I also think they should limit the number of people. We went in March and there were too many people.

The gardens are worth seeing, and the on-site visit management is very well organized. The only downside is that tourists don't realize how complicated it is to get tickets. You almost have to book before you leave! The site is simply a victim of its own success.

Our guide, Mohammed, was great; he took the time to explain everything to us and didn't make us stop at every tourist trap. However, we didn't take the boat tour because there were way too many people waiting in the blazing sun.

The reservation site is very efficient and easy to use, but this time I made a mistake and could not get in because I had the wrong reservation date. Obviously my mistake, but I would have appreciated it if I could have rescheduled or cancelled.
  • Embark on a full-day adventure combining Morocco's most impressive waterfalls with Marrakech's most iconic botanical garden.

    Getting Started

Begin with morning pickup from your Marrakesh hotel or riad in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. Your multilingual guide will accompany you on the scenic 2.5-3 hour drive through the Moroccan countryside toward the Middle Atlas region. The tour typically starts with the Ouzoud Waterfalls portion before returning to Marrakech for your Jardin Majorelle visit in the late afternoon.

    What to Expect

    Ouzoud Waterfalls

Ouzoud Waterfalls are Morocco's highest and most spectacular waterfalls, cascading 110 meters down a dramatic cliff face in the Middle Atlas Mountains. The falls consist of multiple tiers surrounded by lush vegetation and are home to wild Barbary macaque monkeys.

    • Tamellalt village stop: Pause for 30 minutes in this traditional Berber village to explore local architecture, interact with residents, and experience authentic rural Moroccan life.

    • Wildlife spotting: Watch for Barbary macaque monkeys playing in the trees and around the falls, offering excellent photo opportunities in their natural habitat.

    • Riverside lunch (if selected): Savor authentic Moroccan cuisine at a scenic café overlooking the river, surrounded by the sounds of cascading water and natural beauty.

    Jardin Majorelle

Jardin Majorelle is a celebrated botanical garden in Marrakech, renowned for its striking cobalt blue accents and tranquil pathways. Created by French painter Jacques Majorelle in the 1920s and later restored by Yves Saint Laurent, it offers a peaceful retreat from the city's bustle.

    Features

    • Botanical collections: Wander among exotic plants from five continents, including rare cacti, towering bamboo groves, palms, and water lilies thoughtfully arranged throughout the 2.3-acre garden.

    • Distinctive architecture: Admire the vivid Majorelle Blue Art Deco villa and studio, a landmark of the garden's unique artistic vision and bold color palette.
