Katedralen i Sevilla imponerer med sin størrelse, fantastiske gotiske arkitektur og utsmykning. Man kan ikke annet enn å beundre konstruksjonen og håndverket til middelalderens mestere. Det er alltid veldig lange køer ved billettskranken. Med headout-billetten kunne vi gå inn i katedralen og La Giralda-tårnet på det valgte tidspunktet uten å stå i kø. Jeg kan bare varmt anbefale forhåndsbestilling. Oppstigningen til tårnet har en spesiell funksjon, da det ikke er trapper som fører til utsiktsplattformen, men bakker. Fra plattformen har du hele Sevilla under deg, men alltid gjennom sikkerhetsgitteret. Dette trekker dessverre litt ned på opplevelsen.Raymond

Vi nøt besøket vårt i den vakre katedralen i Sevilla. Katedralen er godt vedlikeholdt og veldig unik sammenlignet med andre tradisjonelle katedraler i Europa. Alle bildene ble perfekte.

Katedralen er en imponerende kirke både i størrelse og design. Et høydepunkt er turen opp til toppen av katedralens Giralda-tårn. Billetten du kjøper gir deg også adgang til Frelserens kirke (Iglesia del Salvador), noe som er vel verdt å benytte seg av.

The iconic Seville Cathedral is one of the landmarks of Seville and is one of the largest churches in the world. Adorned in the Gothic and Baroque styles, it has breathtaking vaulted ceilings on the interior. It houses one of the most expensive altarpieces in existence, created by a single craftsman, Pierre Dancart. Don't forget to visit the official tomb of Christopher Columbus in the cathedral.
You will also get a chance to go up La Giralda, the bell tower of the cathedral that stands at 104 meters, which is one of the most important symbols of the city. Spectacular views of the lush Andalusian countryside and Seville can be seen from here, and make for great photo opportunities.
The Church of El Salvador is another lesser-known, albeit equally significant attraction of Seville. Built in the Baroque style, the 17-century wood carvings are a must-see and promise to take your breath away!

The rest of the building, the main chapel, and the Columbus Tomb will also be closed off.
