Guidede turer i Hobart

Guiden vår var vennlig, vittig og morsom. Turen til Bruny Island var en hel dag fylt med fryd for både øyne og smaksløker. Det var en god spredning i alder i den lille gruppen vår, og de la til rette for alle med tålmodighet og respekt. Det er en drive-through for østers hvis du blir fristet til å prøve. Trappene og utkikkspunktet gikk helt fint i eget tempo og var vel verdt den storslåtte utsikten. Honninghuset var en søt belønning, Two Tree Point var historisk med en fredelig strandtur, og deretter fulgte en enkel nattevandring der guiden delte lokal kunnskap om plantelivet – inkludert en liten smakebit fra naturen som ga en krydret og prikkende overraskelse på tungen. Lunsjen på Bruny Hotel bød på et velfortjent, deilig utvalg med flott utsikt, og du kan slukke tørsten med en forfriskende god eple- og kirsebærcider fra Bruny Island. Fyret krevde en liten tur i oppoverbakke, men igjen i eget tempo. Det var god tid, et godt organisert opplegg og et kjapt stopp på veien tilbake for å kjøpe med seg noen sjokoladegodbiter hjem. Veldig godt tilrettelagt, strålende gjennomført av guiden og vel verdt pengene.

The scenic side of the tour was great, But the driver was more interested in sharing his opinions and his success in sport expect his golfing prowess. Also the visit to the cheese outlet was cancelled. This was advertised on line for the tour I booked. Whilst the driver did drop me off there he also made a range of ver unprofessional derogatory comments about the business. I would not good one of you tours again. One more thing I was told to be at my pick up point early (7.20am) but ended being picked up last at 7.40am a long time to wait in the cold and get the worst seat in the bus!!!

Our driver and tour guide Rick took us on a wonderful tour of the beautiful Bruny Island with local history and local foods, we very much enjoyed both. Bruny is an amazingly beautiful island community. The Lighthouse tour with Brian was also brilliant especially standing atop a building built so well and so long ago and so well cared for. We really loved our day trip to Bruny and the small group tour, and our visits to local cheese, chocolate and whisky venues. The food was excellent, the views stunning and we'd definitely recommend this tour.

We had a fabulous day tour with you on Bruny Island yesterday. From pick up to drop off the tour ran very smoothly. Rick, our tour guide and driver, was fabulous. His knowledge of Bruny Island being a local was amazing and his commentary was informative and amusing. We would recommend this tour to everyone.

Great day, wonderfully organised. Our skilled tour guide kept us cheerful with jokes and lots of interesting information (thanks, David). Given that one of the focus points of the trip was the remarkable produce of Bruny Island, we were well supplied with lots of highlights and the clever edition of several giveaways as the day went on. I would highly recommend the trip to anyone who is interested in Bruny Island and in great seafood, cheese, honey, and beer!
