I've wanted to visit Florence for a long while. I'm not a lover of Art but I thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Uffizi. Be prepared however to spend a good chunk of time in there, it's got a lot to see and there's plenty of ground to cover. The Galleria main attraction is Michaelangelo 'David', but there are many more amazing sculptures to see, and plenty of paintings too. Also you can see everything in detail within a steady hour. My favourite visit was definitely the Duomo. If you want to visit the cathedral be aware that covering your shoulders is a requirement, and maybe your knees too. I'm not a religious person but I was in awe of the size and beauty inside. The climb to the top of the Duomo is the main attraction, however be warned if you have a problem climbing stairs then maybe avoid the climb. I'm a fit, younger man, who walks for a living, and I found it hard going, especially the higher up I got. There is no lift (elevator), so if you can't make it up, you will have to come back down. For those who do make it up though, the views are amazing, and worth the effort.

Process for the combo ticket was very simple. I was able to print out the Uffizi ticket but had to got to the ticket booth inside the Accademia for a printed ticket (necessary for entry) it wasn't much of a hassle and didn't require a different line. Both these galleries were packed to the brim on a Friday morning/afternoon. It was hard to really enjoy any of the art as people were constantly pushing past or standing in front or just being generally noisy, but that being said the visit was totally worth it. I would have been delighted just to see the Michelangelo and Botticelli rooms, but there were so many interviewed to see and learn about. The audio guide can be a bit confusing as I believe the one from the tour and the one from the gallery are numbered differently (I could be wrong, but I had to constantly check to be sure that what I was looking at was what I was listening to. The combo ticket I bought here was easy to download and use and was a good price.

I was a little apprehensive about booking our experience online. I read as many reviews as possible for comfort. The Headout rep alleviated my fears instantly. He was very friendly and met us on time at the designated meet point. We gained easy access on time. The exhibition was great. The size and scale of David is a must see. The app is easy to navigate. Your bookings are easy to find. There are lots of other experiences to choose from. I'll definitely use Headout again.

uffizi gallery was a beautiful and stocked to the brim with art (with a big focus on christian/religious art). since u can spend a proper amount of time there, it is definitely worth the money. if u are able to pay the reduced price (for young adults 18-25) do it!!! same goes for the academia gallery, it is beautiful with david as its masterpiece.

Thank you, Headout, for having made this moment so special for me, without the need to worry about meeting the organizers, the timings, etc. Everything went perfect

The galleries are gorgeous. It was so exciting to get to see birth of Venus by Botticelli in person. Davis is do impressive that photos will never do it justice. There are so many great pieces to admire and not enough time in the day. The only down side to both galleries are the crowds. We went on a Friday and it was packed. There was no way to enjoy or relish in the art because all you could do was follow the flow of people. If you tried to stop for more than a minute, someone would push you aside. Forget getting a great photo as there is always a head or camera or hand in your photo. If you just want to stand there and take in the beauty, forget that too there will always be someone with there head inches from the canvas blocking it for everyone else. I really wish they had limited admission days or art lover days that banned cameras and phones and didn't let it get too crowded with rules to respect your fellow art enthusiasts. However, even with the crowds they are must see attractions.

My husband and I bought tickets 2 days before we wanted to go to the Accademia Museum. I should have planned better, as the tickets were 41 Euro each I believe. But we didn't wanted to miss seeing David. Finding help to understand what line to get into was very easy...and we discovered that we needed to go get our physical tickets first (just down the road a bit). Once we got in (time in line was about 10-15 minutes later than our entry time), we had an audio guide on my phone that explained the important pieces we shouldn't miss. David was in the 2nd room and he did not disappoint!! Great opportunity , but a bit overpriced for how small the museum is. We went to the Louvre last year and those tickets were significantly cheaper and a much larger museum.

The package was a bit overpriced compared to packages you could purchase there but it was skip the line which was nice. Confusion with package good for 3 days but no way to get tickets before our scheduled Duomo climb at 4:30 in afternoon. Lost a day of touring. Tour guide was a bit non- personable. Tried to clear things up online but just dealing with AI....frustrating. Not easiest to use. Was able to use tickets for other attractions after Duomo climb but was leaving Florence in a day.
