Directions to the Heathrow Express were clear, baggage storage space adequate and ride was comfortable! Only issue was about the ticket price. £ 26 per ticket seemed a little high for a short 20 minute ride - particularly since I was fortunate to book my Paddington - Heathrow ticket for 18th September 2026 for a decent £ 10. I also have a suggestion - many travellers to London would be first timers - without adequately equipped to pay the ticket fare digitally ( not carrying a Forex Card, or cards that work smoothly in foreign currencies). Many such travellers are comfortable carrying currency notes. While fully appreciating the importance and benefits of digitisation, I would suggest that at Heathrow, where travellers make their first appearance in UK from countries which don't use GBPs in routine transactions, arrangements may be made to accept GBP in currency notes. I am grateful that you have sought to know about my experience. Thanks.

It went wrll so far, but the directions on headway were a bit confusing from the airport to the train entrance. We had to walk quite a long way from Terminal 2 to Terminal 4 for the train entrance. We followed the signs and honestly it was over a 10mins walk. Otherwise everything was smooth, tapping our tickets and getting on the train and you need to scan your tickets to have the train exit gates open so you can leave the station as well.

Booking the Advance Ticket was easy. Maybe l didn't understand how to print the ticket but the printed document l had did have a booking number with the date of travel. The gentleman at the station was very understanding and friendly and l was allowed to pass. Thank you l have travelled on the underground now on a number of occasions.

Located in Bayswater it was close to Paddington station and made for an easy commute to Heathrow. Booking through headout was easy and took the pressure off last minute ticketing at the station.

Using the Heathrow Express is certainly the best way to get to and from London. The train is spacious and easily accommodates luggage. Getting off and on with luggage is also easy as exiting is at the same level as the platform, so luggage rolls off as easily as you step off onto the platform. The ride only takes about 20 minutes, so it's certainly quicker than traveling by road. The Heathrow Express is air conditioned so it's a comfortable ride. There's also free wifi. You can't best the travel into London, in my opinion!
