The written instructions said to check in the purchased ticket with the tour guide. We had bought them online and when I showed it to the driver (Ferdinand), he told us "You should have checked in!" I told him that we had purchased it online and that was all we got. He then let us in (he did not do that with some other passengers. As we got seated, I realized then that across the street, there was some kiosk with "Sound of Music". I assumed that's where he wanted us to go. But my online instructions did not explain that, nor did the driver. He should have had a scaner to do that to make it easier for the whole process. Also, our tour guide had poor English skills. He was nice, but sometimes hard to understand. He said he was from Spain. An accent is not an issue, but the sleaking part is. You get a lot of tourists to do this and the speaker should have a good command of the language. More time for photos and to start with Mirabell Place first to avoid all the tourist rush. I was really disappointed that we ended the tour with the tour guide saying that if anyone wanted to go to Mirabell park, he would take them there. It was very busy and hard to hear the tour guide's broken English. Salzburg is a busy city, but especially busy in the afternoon. The 6 Fillipino people in our bus were lound during the tour guide's speaking. Perhaps the instructions on being respectful of others' listening should have been mentioned so that it did not interfere with the whole experience. I enjoyed the visit to Mundsee, but again, the rest of it was very rushed.
