With moorland landscapes, mountain pines, and gentle streams, Lombachalp is one of Switzerland's hidden gems. Explore this magical winter landscape on this moderate-level snowshoe tour. Starting just below Augstmatthorn, the trail winds through the Lombachalp Nature Reserve. Once you reach the ridge, you will see stunning views of Lake Thun below you, along with the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks out in front. At the end of the tour, you will meet a local ranger, who will tell you interesting stories about the wildlife and history of the moorlands.

No prior experience required. Moderate fitness required - there will be 3.5 hours of walking

Children under 16yrs must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum age is 12yrs

What to bring: Warm waterproof winter clothing (available to rent), camera, water, suncream, sunglasses, daypack
