Zeer nette en duidelijke uitleg van de gids en zijn professionele service. Leuk arrangement van de tour als geheel voor de toerist om aan deel te nemen en even uit te rusten voor een korte maaltijd.

Ondanks de regen. We hebben echt veel geleerd. De lunch was eenvoudig maar lekker. Alles was goed georganiseerd. Vriendelijke en goed uitziende inheemse mensen met veel survivalvaardigheden. Bedankt.

De gids was joviaal en demonstreerde de manier van leven van de verschillende stammen De taxichauffeur was ook erg vriendelijk om op ons te wachten en ons terug naar de stad te brengen, waarbij hij opmerkte dat het moeilijk kan zijn om er een te vinden.

Time travel to Mari Mari Village and learn more about the indigenous tribes

While all of Malaysia is a melting pot of unique cultures, Mari Mari cultural village is an offbeat experience unlike any other. On your way, you will be treated to lush greenery all around you. Once you arrive, your first stop will be at the local houses of each tribe that were painstakingly built by hand using traditional architectural methods. The intricate architecture of each of the five houses symbolizes the unique motifs of each tribe while retaining common elements with Borneo. As you enter each house, learn more about each tribe and how their modern lives beautifully sync with their old ways.

Enjoy a cultural performance and a massive buffet of local dishes

As you approach the final house, an immersive cultural performance will kick off. The blowpipe-making performance is guaranteed to mesmerize you. With that being said, there will be tons of other cultural performances including fire-starting, tattoo-making, and how to make a local cigarette. Just when you thought that it couldn’t get any better, you will be taken to the dining hall where you can feast on a delicious buffet for lunch or dinner (depending on the timings you opt for). Enjoy the feast and wrap up your immersive tour with a happy heart and stomach.
