Check in at the Pacific Whale Foundation Ocean Store at Maʻalaea Harbor Shops, where your ticket will be verified before boarding. Once on board, the crew will provide a comprehensive safety briefing and outline the day’s itinerary. Guests who are new to snorkeling may join the optional Snorkel 101 session to build confidence before entering the water.

What’s not allowed

The use of full-face snorkel masks is not allowed, and guests must use the traditional snorkel equipment supplied.

Guests must not stand on seating or sit on railings, tables, counters, or chair backs.

For safety reasons, children are not allowed to ride on someone’s shoulders while onboard.
