I've just returned from a stay in Malta, and I'm still amazed by everything this archipelago has to offer. Between history, beaches, culture and gastronomy, Malta is a complete destination that fulfilled all my expectations! As soon as I arrived in Valletta, I was struck by the city's unique atmosphere. Its baroque architecture, cobbled streets and breathtaking views over the Mediterranean make the capital a veritable open-air museum. Don't miss the Three Cities and Upper Barrakka Gardens for a spectacular view of the Grand Port. I also loved the excursion to Mdina, the ancient capital nicknamed "the city of silence": a magical place, steeped in history, perfect for a quiet stroll. On the seaside, the beaches and coves of Comino (especially the Blue Lagoon) and Gozo are breathtaking. Turquoise waters, swimming, snorkeling... a true paradise! Gozo in particular is worth a visit for its more rural and authentic atmosphere. Maltese cuisine was a pleasant surprise: from pastizzi and rabbit dishes to fresh seafood and local wines, my taste buds were delighted. Last but not least, I found the Maltese very welcoming and warm, always ready to help or share an anecdote about their island.

  • Immersive exploration of Malta's marine life

Embark on a delightful journey into Malta's underwater world through 41 expertly themed tanks home to a variety of species. The chronological excursion begins with the exploration of Malta’s Western Shoreline & Submarine in Zone 1, teeming with native Mediterranean species such as the gilt-head sea bream and European sea bass.

As you progress, the Valletta Harbour in Zone 2, the Tropical Oceans in Zone 3, and Roman Times in Zone 4, unfold offering a panoramic view of local fish, exotic marine life, and ancient Roman shipwrecks.

    Unending underwater adventures

Be awed as you walk through the main tank's tunnel, a 12-meter diameter space filled with exotic species like black tip sharks, zebra sharks, leopard sharks, bamboo sharks, rays, and eels. Tip: You could get the chance to watch staff feed the sharks at 1pm and 4pm!

Continue on to Zone 5, where you'll encounter the stunning vistas of Gozo and Comino islands, accompanied by thriving freshwater tanks. A surprising addition to your aquatic venture is the Reptiles & Amphibian Area, home to fascinating creatures like Argentine tegus, Brazilian red and white tarantulas, deadly poison dart frogs, and diverse invertebrates.
