I specifically went to see the Couture exhibition and stayed to see many beloved works of art, and have a bit of lunch. Venus de Milo, Winged Victory of Samothrace, the recently restored portrait of Anne of Cleves by Hans Holbein the Younger, the epic series of Rubens 24 paintings for Queen Marie, and of course, La Joconda.Marta

I was the third person to arrive at the museum, but we had to wait a long time, but it was worth it because it was a teenage dream to visit the museum and the French paintings - I have no words to describe the grandeur of such a work of art - and the ceilings left me open-mouthed.Michael

We chose the Louvre for the experience of visiting one of the world's greatest museums. The crowds...what can you do...Paris is popular. The visit was entirely mind-blowing, from the vast open viewing rooms to the exquisite craftsmanship of the halls,, floors and ceilings. However, like the announcements in the metro about pick-pockets, as we were walking up a flight of stairs, my wife was suddenly surprised when she felt someone behind her attempting to fiddle with her handbag. She stopped and turned around. I had no idea why she stopped. As she explained, the couple behind continued walking passed us. And in seconds they were gone. That was a lesson when in busy places: keep your handbag in front of you. Apart from that weird instance, we will visit the Louvre again. And the cost of tickets is an incentive to further explore the Louvre on our next visit to Paris. ...the visit: 9/10 ... a few photosStella

It was an unforgettable experience, I had no personal guide, but the devices we rented were not easy and stressed us out, but anyway we enjoyed a lot we spent three hours, all beautiful and exhausting, this is my second visit, I need more visits to the majestic Louvre museum!Sommerfeld

We were very excited and impressed! Only 30 minutes waiting time thanks to tickets with time! You shouldn't try to do everything, you can't do it in one day! We would start directly with the "Denon" grand piano! The Italian artists are much better! But also make sure you see the European/French wing! There is Napoleon's apartment and very splendid halls!
