If you have the time for a day trip from Florence - please do consider this.. Italy is awesome and we are so glad we did this trip as it was a great insights to the costal towns of Italy in this region. The tour is very well paced.. Yes you get up early.. but then you can catch up the nap on your bus journey which is very comfortable. Our guide was just awesome ensuring that we have a clear view of how the day is going to look like.. and she helped us with all the onboarding and offboarding of the trains.. its a super fun activity as you visit great small towns.. use all the modes of transport except flight and there is help all along the way. Very professional.. very dependable.. This tour has been the highlight among all the day trips we took.. Cant recommend enough!!

There were long lines for tickets so it was good to book ahead online. They lines to board the ferries were well managed and waiting time was not a lot. People should be asked to take their bags off the seats and put them under. Some passengers were being very inconsiderate and taking up two spots (with bags) while customers were standing. They need to be told by the crew. Very lovely day spent in cinq terre.
