What to expect

Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens

This experience is centered within Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens, where animal exhibits sit within lush tropical botanical gardens. You move between habitats on designated visitor walking paths, with time to stop at enclosures, gardens, and educational areas that interest you most.

Features

• Access to animal exhibits and wildlife habitats lets you observe a variety of species in outdoor settings, including opportunities to see lions, giraffes, primates, and other exotic animals from around the world. As you walk, you can pause at different viewing points to watch behavior, feeding times, or quieter moments in each habitat.
• Self-guided exploration of the tropical botanical gardens means you choose your own route among the garden areas that surround the zoo. You can weave between plant-lined paths and animal zones, combining time in the greenery with stops at nearby exhibits.
• The Primate Expedition Cruise, subject to availability and zoo operations, offers a scenic boat ride past islands that are home to primates. From the boat, you get a different perspective on these animals, watching them move and interact on their island habitats without barriers in front of you.
• Access to scheduled wildlife presentations and educational activities is included, so you can join talks that focus on animal conservation and species-specific facts. These sessions help you learn more about the animals you have just seen along the paths and at the habitats.
• Public walking paths and designated visitor areas throughout the zoo connect everything, allowing you to navigate between lions, giraffes, monkeys, and other exhibits as you like. You can decide how long to spend in each zone, making the day suitable for both quick visits and longer family outings.
