We made a last‑minute decision to visit the National Aquarium Abu Dhabi, and it turned out to be such a great choice. To skip the long queue, we bought our tickets online through Abu Dhabi Tickets/Headout — and to my surprise, they offered discounts! The tickets were much cheaper than buying them at the counter, which was a huge saving for a family of six. The National Aquarium is a fantastic place for both kids and kids at heart. Aside from the impressive variety of sea creatures, they also have a capybara (which my daughter loves), birds, and reptiles in their mini Forest section. There is also an interactive activities that is very entertaining. Our kids had the best time exploring everything. It was truly a memorable day for all of us.

We were looking for a last-minute weekend getaway with our 2-year-old son and thought—why not visit the National Aquarium? He’s really into sea animals right now, so we knew he’d absolutely love it. While searching for tickets online, I came across Headout and decided to give it a try. The process was incredibly simple, and the price was much more affordable compared to the regular ticket, as the ones on Headout were already discounted. Right after purchasing, we received our tickets via WhatsApp and email. When we arrived, we just scanned the QR code and entered right away—no hassle at all. It was very convenient. We truly enjoyed our National Aquarium experience, and it’s definitely something our son will treasure.

I recently visited the National Aquarium Abu Dhabi and it was absolutely worth it! I honestly thought it would be small, but it turned out to be huge and full of amazing exhibits. There are so many species of fish and even some animals to see. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the experience, it made me feel like a kid again, fascinated by the colorful sea life and underwater world. Definitely a must visit for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing day!

Children below 3 years old enter free, but a valid ID is required.

Please note that multi-park ticket holders at Yas Island theme parks will enter using face scan at the turnstiles. Guests must register by scanning the QR code on their ticket, selecting Register Face Tag, entering personal details, accepting the terms, and uploading a face photo. Each guest must complete their own registration, and it is recommended to do this in advance to avoid entry delays. Alternatively, guests can register via the Yas Island App or visit Guest Services with a passport or Emirates ID. A tutorial video is available here.

All guests visiting The National Aquarium Abu Dhabi are expected to dress modestly, with shoulders and backs covered. Attire considered offensive or disruptive will not be permitted.
