Getting started

Arrive at the jewellery studio and check in for your Standard Group Jewellery Workshop. You are introduced to your local artisan, who explains the format of the hands-on jewellery workshop. Once you are at the bench with your small group, you look over the beads, findings, materials, and tools laid out for your session before getting started.

What to expect

Handmade jewellery workshop: bracelet and necklace

This is a hands-on jewellery workshop led by a local artisan, focused on designing and making two custom pieces from start to finish. You work at the bench in a standard group format, with no more than a very small group around the tools and materials at any time.

Features

• Begin by exploring all beads, findings, materials, and tools, then choose your own beads, colours, and findings for both pieces so each design reflects your style.
• With continuous hands-on jewellery workshop guidance from the local artisan, you make both a bracelet and a necklace from scratch, learning how to assemble and finish each item step by step.
• At the end of the session, you leave with a finished bracelet and a finished necklace to take home, keeping both jewellery pieces you created during the workshop.
• Throughout the experience, mint tea is served and workshop photos are taken, capturing you working at the bench in a very small group of no more than 5 guests.
