Find your tour group and your guide at the meeting point and leave behind the busy capital to soak in the natural and scenic beauty of the Cotswolds. With its historic villages, limestone hills and lush countryside, the Cotswolds is sure to mesmerize you.
Start your tour in the village of Burford and walk down its high street made of every kind of Cotswold Ston that slopes down to the River Windrush. See the town's small tea houses and shops. Head south to the village of Bibury, said to be the prettiest village in the region with its wonderful stone buildings strung out along the banks of the River Coln. It is here that you will stop for a scrumptious, two-course lunch at the Swan Hotel, well known for the range of traditional cooking and ales that you can enjoy.
Take a leisurely drive through the northern Cotswolds, looking out over rolling hills and sleepy villages before you stop at Bourton-on-the-water and Stow-on-the-Wold. Your professional guide will walk you through each village while regaling you with their respective histories and leaving plenty of time to capture photographs as souvenirs of your pleasant day before you return to the meeting point.
