What an incredible experience climbing the O2! From start to finish it was so well organised, and the views from the top were absolutely breathtaking. A huge thank you to our climb leader, Ellie, who made the whole experience even more enjoyable. She was friendly, knowledgeable, encouraging and had a great sense of humour, which really helped put everyone at ease. She struck the perfect balance between keeping us safe and making the climb fun, and her enthusiasm was infectious. Thank you, Ellie, for making our adventure so memorable. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend the O2 Climb to anyone looking for a unique experience!

We arrived a little late. But the ladies there were amazing and got us onto the next booking. The climb was tough I get it about switching sides to climb for wear and tear but mist people a predominantly right handed so was tough to kinda switch hands. The view was amazing. And the guide Rebecca was so knowledgeable not just about up but all of London and most importantly where the pub was. My only real bug bear is the stupid shoes. I had brand new sketchers on and apparently didn't have enough grip. I get it climbing shoes but damn there uncomfortable. And the price. Like staff wages. Wear tear of all equipment insurance. But nearly 90 quid for 2 people means Ur doing 450 quid every 15 mins. Fir a view of London yeah great still think you should bake it 20

Our tour guide Emily was brilliant! My mum was nervous as she isnt the best with heights and she made her feel ALOT more at ease, even going through a couple of things twice 🤣

Lisa was awesome, we arrived from Toronto Canada. Lisa was very knowledgeable on history and facts on London. While we were climbing always checking in on us. When we reached the top she took amazing pictures of myself and my daughter. It's an experience we will always remember. Thank you Lisa 😀

I wanted to embark on a new and exciting experience during my short stay in the city. I was not in the least deterred and the activity met all my expectations. Josh -our guide- was pleasant and fun to listen to all along. I will likely book again at another time of the day or for another spécial occasion.

Climb the O2 roof for 90 mins and enjoy 360° views of London, including Greenwich, Canary Wharf, and the Olympic Park.

Getting started

Arrive at the Up at The O2 base near the main entrance, where staff will check your ticket and provide a safety briefing. You’ll be fitted with a climb suit and harness before meeting your climb guide, who will outline the route and answer any questions.

What to expect

Up at The O2 Climb

Up at The O2 offers a guided outdoor climb over the world-famous O2 Arena, a landmark on London’s skyline since 2000. The experience lets you walk across a specially designed walkway, suspended above the arena’s roof, for a unique perspective of the city.

360° viewing platform: Reach the summit and take in panoramic views stretching up to 15 miles on clear days, with landmarks like historic Greenwich, Canary Wharf, and the Olympic Park in sight.

Guided climb: Knowledgeable guides lead each group, sharing insights about the O2’s architecture and the surrounding cityscape.

Multiple climb options: Choose from Daytime, Sunset, or Twilight climbs, each offering a distinct atmosphere and lighting as you cross the roof.

Safety gear provided: All climbers receive a climb suit, harness, and safety equipment, ensuring a secure and comfortable experience throughout.

Winter special: Elevate your winter climb! From Nov 21, 2025, to Jan 4, 2026, every climb ticket includes complimentary access to the festive Snow Globe Experience waiting for you right on top of The O2.

What to bring

Trousers are the best choice for this experience, allowing for a proper fit of the safety harness.

What’s not allowed

Safety is a priority, so this experience is restricted for guests under the age of 8 years, under the height of 1.2m (3.94ft), and over the weight of 130kg (286.60lb), with a maximum waist measurement of 125cm, and a maximum upper thigh measurement of 75cm.

This experience is restricted for guests under the influence of alcohol or legal or illegal substances.

Accessibility

Pregnant people are restricted from participating in this experience.

Additional information

A minimum supervision ratio of 1:5 is mandated, with one adult for every five children aged under 18 years.

You must arrive 15 mins before your climb time as latecomers cannot be admitted.

From Nov 21, 2025 to Jan 4, 2026, all climbs will include access to the festive Snow Globe Experience on the roof of The O2.
