Great tour, well organised, no problem to find the group, the guide (Adrian) was funny and knowledgeable. Lots of good information, he really made the most of the time we had. He was able to answer questions from the group and clearly knew a lot more than he had time to share.

Apart from the fact that our schedule guide did not make it the alternative guide who was handling two groups in an excellent job. She was very educational and the whole tour was impressive.

I learned so much from listening to Brad the tour guide. The tour has way too much to take in without assistance so really glad I had someone to 3xplain everything!

I enjoyed the London Tower tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. She also added some humor to the tour. Very enjoyable. One complaint I had is that the tour was labeled tagged as 1 hour 15 minutes. When I arrived our guides stated it was 2 hours. That was a problem because I had to be somewhere else before this tour actually ended therefore I missed the beefeater meet and greet. This needs to be corrected on your website.

A very knowledgeable guide who certainly knew his history of the Tower and anecdotes and interesting tales. My husband and I made slow progress but he was very considerate of our lack of mobility and only went as fast as we could manage.

We toured with Nick. Everything about this tour went smoothly from the ear-piece microphones which made hearing him very easy to our meeting with a Yeoman warder. A lovely experience with wonderful history from Nick. Nick even gave us some ideas of additional things we could stick around for and do afterwards. Excellent all the way around.

What’s not allowed

Photography is allowed in most areas, except the Jewel House and the Chapel of St. John.

Photos aren’t allowed during the Ceremony of the Keys.

Luggage, large bags, tripods, selfie sticks, and other photographic or recording equipment are not allowed in this experience.

Smoking, eating, and drinking are not allowed.

Accessibility

This experience is partially wheelchair- and pram/stroller accessible.

Complimentary adult carer/companion tickets can be obtained on the day of your visit upon presentation of proof of supporting documents (such as a Blue Badge, Freedom Pass, DLA letter or PIP letter) at the Ticket Office.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

The Crown Jewels are a working collection, and as a consequence, the display is subject to change without prior notice due to security reasons.

Your ticket is valid for one entry only. No re-entry is permitted.

Some Beefeater meet-and-greets take place outside the King’s House, a restricted area normally off-limits to the public.

The guided portion of the tour lasts approximately 1.15 to 2.5 hours, after which you may explore the Tower at your own pace.

You’ll meet a tour host at the start of the experience, who will guide you to the Tower’s gates. There, you’ll be introduced to your Beefeater guide, who will lead you into the Tower of London after it has closed to the public.
