Anna, our tour guide, was fabulous. Not only did she know all the details about Versailles but history, too, things I did not know. Das einzige Manko: die Headset hatten teilweise nicht funktioniert das meiner Frau nur in vielleicht 20 Prozent der Zeit. Ersatz war keiner da ... Zudem war es teilweise nicht ganz leicht den Anschluss an den ansonsten sehr netten Guide zu halten weil dieser teilweise nicht gewartet hat ..

La guía fue un 10! Pero compramos el tour completo, con jardines y todo y no pudimos verlo, simplemente porque justo ese día cerraban antes, me hubiese gustado que la agencia advirtiera eso y no vendieran una experiencia que no se iba a realizar!

With just a few flames, the reflection from so many mirrors was enough to light up the whole hall!

During high season, from Apr through Oct, it is recommended to visit the Palace early in the morning, right when it opens.

Tue and weekends generally see the most traffic, especially on days of water fountain shows.
