Alessandro mi ha guidato in un tour espresso di un'ora fuori e dentro il Duomo di Firenze. Preparatissimo, una vera miniera di informazioni riguardo il Duomo, il Battistero e il campanile di Giotto. Ho proseguoto da solo al Museo dell'Opera del Duomo. Sarebbe bello se il pacchetto includesse una guida esperta per un pò più di tempo, ad esempio dentro al museo.

I was having trouble with my electronic tickets. The Heads-up team was very helpful and re-sent the tickets on time for the tour. I appreciated having a set entry time and not having to wait in line for hours. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable.

Ellenora was a fantastic guide! She was engaging, extremely knowledgeable and very personable! She was hands down the best your guide in our few Florence tours. We wouldnt have wanted to see the Duomo and museum any other way. We learned so much more than just going it alone. I'm very glad we were able to book last minute and get into the museum and through the lines. We got lucky and the crowd wasn't too bad. Highly recommend this tour!

Guida bravissima con racconti interessanti e significativi per capire la storia del Duomo ma anche altri dettagli che denotano passione ed entusiasmo per il lavoro svolto. Puntualità e nessuna coda per entrare al Duomo. Consigliatissimo

What to bring

A valid photo ID is required to collect your entry pass and audio devices (if applicable).

What’s not allowed

Please note that entry is subject to a dress code. Shoulders and knees must be covered, and sandals, hats, or sunglasses are not permitted inside.

Flash photography is prohibited inside all monuments.

Large bags and backpacks are not allowed inside the Complex. Please remember that there are no cloakrooms at the site.

Accessibility

Ramps available at the Cathedral, Baptistery, Museum, and Santa Reparata.

Dome and Bell Tower are not wheelchair accessible and are not recommended for visitors with limited mobility, heart, or back issues.

Certified guide dogs are allowed in all accessible areas.

Additional information

The Dome has 463 steps, and Giotto’s Bell Tower has 414, no elevators are available.

Children under the age of 7 are not allowed to climb the Dome or the Bell Tower. Those between the ages of 7-14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Dome and Bell Tower entries are self-guided.

Baptistery’s mosaic vaults are under restoration and not visible; it closes at 2pm on the first Sunday of each month.

The Opera del Duomo Museum is closed on the first Tuesday of every month.

Your voucher will be emailed to you instantly.

Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the scheduled time of your tour to avoid any delays.

Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the meeting point.
