This is an awesome display, each of the items are replicas of the real thing. We really found the display interesting and I'd highly recommend taking two hours to see the display.

The only reason I gave it four out of five stars was because it was too short. It needs and deserves a bigger venue to tell the story of such a rich and intriguing culture. As I walked through the exhibit I couldn't help but imagine the time and place it was. Their patience and skills can be seen in every exhibit piece. The stories behind each exhibit need to be read to gain an understanding as to why and how. The tomb designs still leave me wondering and with a passion to now want to visit. Well worth it.

Getting started

Your ticket includes general admission to Tomb of the Pharaohs in Cairns. Arrive a little early to make the most of your time, then move at your own pace through the galleries. The venue is fully indoors, air-conditioned, and accessible, with lifts, even ground surfaces, and restrooms available for your comfort.
