The water immersion was more than I expected and it was totally surprised . There is so many numerous things that stood out and made it special for me. I don't even know where to start. For example, the crystals and standing on the mirror floor was just mesmerizing., walking through the water and listening to the sounds of it was very calming. Another feature was the orchids. I could stand in there all day and just watch them slowly going up and down . The children's artwork was presented on the wall in an animation. Overall, very, very family friendly and highly recommend anybody who visits Tokyo to go and see for themselves. .

Easy communication and process th purchase tickets. TeamLabs Planets was an amazing experience for my 2 children and me. We booked the 6:30pm slot. The line was long but moved quickly. I highly recommend starting on the water side if you have been out all day. It was so soothing and like a foot massage. Then we moved to athletic portion for all the activities which the kids loved and ended in the gardens. The hanging garden is a beautiful way to end. It's so amazing. I highly recommend this experience for everyone. Totally worth it.

Un mot pour résumer notre passage au teamLab à Tokyo : magique ! Ma femme, nos fils et moi en avons pris plein les yeux du début à la fin. C'est une vraie plongée hors du temps, totalement immersive, où les lumières, les couleurs et les jeux d'eau créent une atmosphère féerique. Les garçons ont adoré explorer chaque espace interactif, et nous sommes tous ressortis émerveillés de cette parenthèse sensorielle. C’est clairement un incontournable absolu pour un voyage en famille au Japon ! z

What an incredible experience! teamLab Planets in Tokyo is unlike anything I’ve experienced before. So interactive, with different textures, surfaces, lights and sensory experiences that make every room unique. Such a clever and creative concept that really gets you involved rather than just looking at things. Definitely something different and well worth experiencing! Highly recommend if you’re visiting Tokyo! 🇯🇵✨

What a wonderful experience! I loved visiting teamLab and enjoying the sumo wrestling experience with my line sisters. Sharing these moments with them made it even more special! Although I didn’t get a chance to wrestle with the sumo wrestlers, we got some great pictures, and I even won a T-shirt! From beginning to end, it was such a fun and memorable time. A beautiful addition to our trip to Japan—I highly recommend it!

Nous avons été bien acceuillis et facilement redirigés dès notre arrivée sur site. Tout était clairement expliqué, l'endroit, bien que très fréquenté par beaucoup de touristes est d'une propreté irréprochable et le personnel très à l'écoute des visiteurs. We visited TeamLab Planets relatively late in the evening, and by that time it wasn’t very crowded anymore. We had skip-the-line tickets, but honestly, we didn’t really need them because there was barely any line. Getting in was very easy and relaxed. We really enjoyed the food there. It was especially nice that the entire food offering was vegan, and everything we tried was delicious. The water area was also one of our highlights and definitely a fun experience. The rest, however, was a little less exciting than we had expected. A lot of it felt more geared towards children and wasn’t quite as interesting for us personally. Compared to TeamLab Borderless, we definitely preferred Borderless because it felt more varied and overall more impressive. Planets was still a nice experience, but if we had to choose only one of the two, we would definitely pick Borderless.

Arrived earlier to have lunch o. Restaurant as advertised. We were told No entry by staff. Only seating available outside were two bench seats for total of 8 persons. Everyone else required to stand outside, in our case it was raining, or in sun perhaps for others. Designers made no provision for elderly or those with children. The activities were immersive and excellent. Highly recommend for families and young teens. Staff inside venue friendly and smiling.

L'esperienza al teamLab Plantes Tokyo è stata incredibile! Grazie al Qrcode siamo potuti entrare senza problemi. Anche il trasporto è stato molto semplice attraverso la metropolitana che ci ha lasciato davanti. L'interno ci sono tre sezioni con ulteriori numerose stanze piene di attività interattive da fare. il personale è stato cortese e se avevamo domande, loro ci spiegavano in inglese. PS: consiglio di andare al mattino se non volete trovare troppa gente.

I wanted to make sure that my group visiting Japan would love to see something different and the Team Lab Planets was my choice of a creative, immersive in digital design included storytelling ,animation, music, colour and sensory experiences. It didn't disappoint. It was brilliant!! My group loved it and it bought them back to their childhood!!

Premium Pass allowed for very smooth entry and less stress on choosing right time slot for first day of holiday in Japan. All activities were great - especially loved the water area and catching forest animals on app - can't wait to return with my kids! Great day out for all ages. Highly recommend.

Getting started

Arrive at teamLab Planets TOKYO near the main entrance, where staff will guide you through ticket validation and a brief security check. Lockers are available for small items, and guests are encouraged to wear pants due to mirrored surfaces in some areas.

What to expect

This contemporary museum spans over 10,000 square meters, offering a multi-sensory journey through large-scale digital artworks. Each space is designed to engage all five senses, making you an active participant in the art.

Features

Floating Flower Garden: Step into a room filled with living orchids that move in response to your presence, creating a dynamic floral landscape.

Collecting Extinct Forest: Explore an immersive environment that blends digital projections with real elements, highlighting the connection between art and nature.

Reflective Water Surfaces: Walk barefoot through shallow pools that mirror light and color, amplifying the sensory impact of each installation.

Infinite Crystal Universe: Experience the sensation of floating in a space surrounded by thousands of suspended LED crystals, simulating a boundless universe.

Forest Area (from Jan 22, 2025): Access a new open-air zone featuring interactive digital art and a cafe/restaurant, expanding the creative experience.

What to bring

Wear pants to avoid reflections on mirrored floors. Skirts and wide-legged clothing are not recommended.

Clothes may get wet. Bring a change of clothes or wear quick-dry clothing, especially for children.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, food and beverages, and sharp objects are not permitted inside the exhibition.

Eating, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited within the venue.

Pets, including guide dogs, are not allowed.

Re-entry is not allowed after you leave the venue.

Accessibility

Strollers must be left in the designated area before entering. Baby carriers are permitted inside the exhibition.

Guests with wheelchairs will be requested to transfer to the venue's available wheelchairs once inside. The number of available wheelchairs is limited. These wheelchairs are standard models without fastening devices.

This experience is not recommended for visitors with light sensitivity, back issues, or cardiac conditions. Some areas of the venue are not accessible to pregnant women.

Additional information

Some areas require you to go barefoot. Please remove your shoes before entering.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Staff may ask guests to leave if they stay too long during busy periods.

Facilities: Free lockers for small items & 1-hour free weekday parking are included.
