2 expériences extraordinaires, que ca soit la croisière nocturne sur le Danube qui permet de découvrir la facette absolument magique de Budapest, ou les thermes de Szechenyi, dans un cadre unique, un bâtiment splendide et des bassins externes magnifiques avec une température agréable (38°) à condition d'arriver un peu tôt vers 8h maximum pour mieux profiter des lieux. Par contre les piscines internes semblaient assez sales et mal entretenue, je ne les ai pas du tout touché. Je recommande les différents saunas surtout celui de sels.

Crociera utile a conoscere le varie attrazioni di Budapest. Puoi utilizzare il tuo cellulare per ascoltare l'audio guida. L'unica pecca è la musica di sottofondo: non mi potete mettere le canzoni pop/ rock casuali della radio durante un'attività del genere. Le terme sono ok, molto storiche, anche se le aspettative erano più alte. Purtroppo l'unica vasca che si differenzia dalle altre è quella esterna con alcuni idromassaggi. Per il resto sono tutte molto simili. Tempo di permanenza 3/4 ore, non di più.

Fuimos por la tarde y me esperaba mucha más aglomeración de la que había ese día. La piscina exterior más grande estaba en obras, por lo que me hubiese gustado que se reflejara en el precio de la entrada. Por lo demás, todo maravilloso, el personal de limpieza pasaba frecuentemente a revisar los baños. Las taquillas son realmente útiles, no es necesario pagar más por una cabina.

Really enjoyed the day in the spa. It was not crowded at all and we were able to experience both the indoor and outdoor baths easily. We lingered over breakfast so did not arrive until after 11am but were able to walk straight in without any queuing. We spent most of our time outside despite the 4 degree air temperature. It was a glorious day and both my sister and I managed to get sunburnt. Remember to bring your sunscreen even if you are visiting in winter. Would highly recommend and don't stress if you forget your flip flops or towel. There is a shop at the entrance for everything you will need. The cruise was a great way to relax after the baths but one small thing to note is that even though there is a bar to get food and drinks on board if you get up to go someone will take your seat, especially if you arrived early and snagged a good one!

Ingresso alle terme semplice, siamo entrati subito! Spogliatoi un po' arretrati.. tanti armadietti in poco spazio e con solo due panche che non riuscirebbero a contenere tutte le persone. Le terme esterne semplicemente: FAVOLOSE; quelle interne lasciamo un po' a desiderare, non proprio pulite però comunque era fattibile starci meno che in una dove l'acqua era verde e il fondo delle piscina era nero... che dire neanche un piede abbiamo immerso. Le saune erano fantastiche solo un po' troppo affollate. Per le doccia potrebbero mettere magari un doccino come si deve piuttosto che una specie di tubo e via ed anche i phon non erano un granché. Ristorante decisamente troppo caro, pur vero che le porzioni erano oneste però per i prezzi lasciam perdere. Nel resoconto una giornata all'insegna del relax!

My wife and I had a great time however I assumed towels would be supplied or even rented out if needed like many thermal spas I have been to around the world this was not the case so I paid £16 each for the cheapest towels which were as thin as a tea towel not worth more than £3 ,nobody wants to feel when they arrive at such a place that they have been taken advantage off . Also advice on how to use the locker system would help as it's a bit chaotic

The outdoor thermal bath was very hot and relaxing. I like that they had a cold pool The outdoor adventure pool was fun 😊 The baths do get busy and crowded and be careful where you leave your towel as our got taken twice 😡 Take your own towel and sliders /bathrobe as they will charge The toilet and shower facilities weren't the best but manageable, and it can be slippery so take care

The whole place was amazing and it was to my great luck that I was there on a "sauna day" I had the experience of enjoying the different themed sauna sessions. Salt, ginger bread and mulled wine. I thought it was brilliant. I will return to Budapest just to experience the baths again

Szechenyi Spa

Due to autumn maintenance, the outdoor thermal pool will be closed from September 22 to 28, 2025, and the outdoor adventure pool will be unavailable from September 29 to October 5, 2025.

Starting August 1, 2025, entry to the bath will no longer be permitted for anyone under the age of 14.

The last entry is allowed up to one hour before closing, and all pools and surrounding areas must be vacated 20 minutes before closing time.

Wearing slippers in the spa area is mandatory for all guests.

The light sauna and the volcano sauna are temporarily out of service due to technical issues.

Your hop-on hop-off ticket includes a free Danube River cruise, valid throughout your pass until 5pm; a small fee of 2,000 HUF applies for later departures.

The boat tour operates with a minimum of 10 passengers.

Pets are welcome on the buses, but only if kept in closed baskets, cages, or pet carriers.
