See two very different sides of England in one plan, from royal treasures inside a historic fortress to ancient stones standing alone in open countryside.
Getting started
Start at either attraction and show your mobile ticket at the entrance. After a quick security check at the Tower of London, you can begin exploring. Plan your Stonehenge visit separately at your chosen time.
What to expect
Tower of London
Step inside a fortress that has stood for nearly a thousand years, where thick stone walls, towers, and narrow walkways hold stories of royalty, imprisonment, and power.
Features:
-
Crown Jewels display: See the Crown Jewels up close, displayed behind glass, where crowns and ceremonial pieces catch the light and draw steady attention.
-
White Tower and historic rooms: Enter the White Tower and move through rooms filled with armor, weapons, and displays that reflect the fortress’s long and complex history.
-
Battlements and towers: Walk along elevated walls and explore towers like the Bloody Tower, where narrow passages and enclosed spaces hint at the lives once held inside.
-
Exhibitions across the site: Visit spaces like the Royal Mint and Fusiliers Museum, where displays add context to how the Tower functioned across different periods.
Stonehenge
Out in the open countryside, the stone circle appears gradually as you approach, standing alone against wide skies with no modern structures around it.
Features:
-
Walk around the stone circle: Follow the pathways that circle the monument, where you can view the towering stones from different angles and notice their size and arrangement.
-
Open landscape setting: Take in the wide, uninterrupted surroundings that make the stones stand out, with the horizon stretching in every direction around the site.
-
Self paced exploration: Move around the monument at your own speed, stopping where you want for photos or simply taking in the quiet atmosphere of the space.
