These tickets granted us fast and easy access that made entering the palace a smooth journey. We had direct entry through a separate entrance that was conveniently located next to Ponte della Paglia. Definitely a great and worthwhile visit to understand the history behind the Most Serene Republic of Venice!

The place is truly spectacular. From the wonderfully crafted finishes and paintings, to the wonderful architecture and spaces. The visitor journey is through all the key areas of the building, private quarters, civic spaces, jail, etc. Awesome!

Yes, the crowds in Venice are extreme, but once inside the doge's palace because it is so large, it was peaceful and so beautiful absolutely not to be missed. With these tickets, we walked right in. The decoration and paintings are over the top and a beautiful example from that time period. It includes walking over the bridge of sighs and into the prison which I found fascinating.

Walking through the palace feels like moving through a timeline — from the grandeur of the halls where Venice governed an empire, to the armory filled with relics of a military that once projected power across Europe and into the Middle East. Each chamber is layered with meaning, adorned with paintings that aren’t just decorative, but stories — political messages, victories, diplomatic relationships, and cautionary tales all embedded in brushstrokes. The art itself is stunning — ceilings covered in gold, massive canvases that dominate entire walls, portraits of Doges and statesmen who shaped centuries of policy and trade. It’s impossible not to feel small standing in a room where decisions were made that impacted countries far beyond Italy.
