Rovaniemi: Husky and Reindeer Experience with Snowmobile Ride

What to bring

• Driver's license: Bring a valid class B driver's license if you want to drive a snowmobile.

• Voucher: Keep your voucher or booking confirmation ready to show at check-in.

• Clothing: Dress in thermal layers, fleece, or wool, and add thick socks, gloves, and a hat.

• Camera care: Use protective cases and keep camera gear inside your jacket when not in use.

• Comfort items: Pack sunglasses and lip balm to stay comfortable in the bright, snowy landscape.

• Medications: Carry any personal medications you may need during the six-hour outdoor tour.

What’s not allowed

• Alcohol: Do not consume alcohol or join the tour while intoxicated.

• Snowmobile driving: Do not drive a snowmobile without a valid driver's license.

• Luggage: Do not bring large bags or bulky luggage on the transfers or activities.

• Smoking: Do not smoke in vehicles, during activities, or near the animals.

Accessibility

• Wheelchair: This tour is not wheelchair accessible because it involves snow, sleighs, and snowmobiles.

• Punctuality: Arrive on time at your pick-up point to avoid missing the safari.

• Snowmobile sharing: Expect two adults to share one snowmobile during the ride.

• Group with odd numbers: In odd-sized groups, one guest will share a snowmobile with another participant.

• Children in sledge: Children aged 1 to 13 can ride in a sledge pulled by the guide's snowmobile.

• Parent with child: A parent is recommended to sit with small children in the sledge.

• Older children: Children taller than 140 cm may ride as snowmobile passengers at the adult rate.

• Infants in transfer: Infant seats are available for transfers if you request them in advance.

• Snowmobile damages: If you drive, you are responsible for snowmobile damages up to €950.

• Optional insurance: You can reduce your liability to €150 with optional on-site insurance for €15.
